It feeds the idea that if we only got the wrong group of people out and the right group of people in, our problem would be solved.
But if they all collude on being the wrong group of people, that becomes only a recipe for chasing our own tails.
There is a supernatural answer and that is for the wrong group of people to become the right group of people, by means of worshiping the Lord in spirit and in truth. “Maybe” the GOP would be more conducive to this than Democrats are. They seem to be closer. But again maybe God may pull a complete surprise on us.
There is a freeper out there with a name in reference to a greek philosopher diogenes. Not being educated in greek folklore, I googled it. Diogenes wandered the streets of athens like a vagabond with a lamp. Evidently he was looking for an honest man.
