Well thank you RG. This thread has been part of my Sunday since....well I have the exact date....9/12/2001...indeed the day after the attacks on 9-1-01.
Y’all were with me as I nursed my husband back to health from a brain infection of all things. He lived for four more years after that, wonderful years but, alas, his health was compromised and he did have awful lung problems. For two days I stayed with him, allowing him to die at home rather than the blasted hospital he so abhorred.
Oh I had the Medicos on the phone with me lest I get arrested for murder, walking me through his death. Billy wanted to die at home and so he did.
There was the time of the dog attack, remember that? Kaitlyn, my granddaughter, was five, we were walking our dog, Jo-Ann, a Belgian Malinois now with Billy up in heaven. A cocker spanial came roaring out of a house and attacked Jo-Ann on a public street, my dog leashed and harnessed, and then out comes the cocker’s owner with a damn knife, was going to KILL MY DOG!
Anyway, dog quarantined because I have never been treated fair by any Sussex county institution since I lived here but folks, stick with me, because I do know people, yes I do, and I AM GOING TO GET JUSTICE!
Then there is the crazy daughter, for whom I wrote a book, fiction.....I found five of those books, called “Attention, Please!” with my daughter a fictional character who....guess? FAKES ILLNESS!!
THAT story was written in 2001, also right around the 9-1 attacks and I mention because part of the plot involved hijacking an airplane. The story of my daughter, character SKY, was about her adolescence of constant medical fakery because that’s when it began, folks, and I knew something wasn’t right.
So I sat and wrote a book because like I told Billy, if I don’t document this now no one will ever believe us.
NOWHERE in that book are the words “Munchaussen syndrome” because at that time I didn’t know there was such a thing.
And yet that book has been my salvation, in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. My daughter, having read the book right after it was written, demanded that I take it off the market or I will never see my granddaughter again.
So I told publisher to pull it down but guess what? It’s still on Amazon but I GET NOT A DIME OUT OF ANY SALE.

So here I am in the position of HAVING TO BUY MY OWN DAMN BOOK!
Yes I have an electronic copy which the Discovery people are using....yes that’s set to go after first of year.
But I found five copies of that book in my shed and of course I kept one. Four other people, one being Father Tom Flowers, got a signed copy, cherish with your life for there shall be no more.
I am, however, writing another book because she went on from a horrible adolescence into a horrible adulthood and further...WHY DID SHE CARE ABOUT MY BOOK IF IT WASN’T TRUE?
Bah humbug.
Anyway, my life, heh, is an open book right here on this thread.

No problems or damage where I live. It’s actually very frustrating; power goes out here in the country even when the problem is elsewhere. I’m too lazy to haul out the generator.
Update: Alabama Power now says we should be restored by noon.
He’s right. Gowdy is weak on immigration and some think that the investigation of hillary was always designed to make him look good yet never go anywhere. And... wala what happened? He’s friends with goober,Marco and McCain and now advocating marco for pouts. all three are members of the “banda de los ocho,” not my kind of conservatives.
All this smells of GOPe to me not my cup of tea.

Just a wild guess but what if the Jebsters had a bunch of placeholders in the race to try and cover their guy.Say Graham,the huckster,carly, and maybe a few others.I would not put it past them.
Watching the panel on Fox News Sunday. I wish they’d call me for why Trump is in the lead and staying there. They have not got a handle on why. They dance around it.. but not stating the reason why I support Trump or why the anger out here.
It’s because NO ONE (GOP, News media, Washington)has even tried to stop obama from destroy this nation.. they have done nothing and have given him free reign, plus protecting him and acting like he’s a normal President. He’s NOT normal. The panel didn’t even mention Obama. Plus the GOP has dissed their base and won’t listen to anything we have in our grievances.
The panel went to “jobs” and the economy being the reason we are angry. Yes, but that is not the crux of my anger. It’s the GOP’s total cave and the liberal media.

And a panel full of BS. I especially enjoyed Byah’s comments about a surging Commie Dem party.

It’s been my experience that some people will do most anything to keep getting a free ride in life. From obama on down they are everywhere.All the while playing victim status. Whether its the poor young girl on her own or the half black potus the game is the same.

If it’s any consolation, no one watched. I do appreciate your concerns and share most of them.
The panel does not want to know why Trump is leading.
They believe their job is as kingmakers rather than reporters and want an establishment nominee. They have become the Establishmedia.
In a way that helps. The more the drivebys profess their hate for the Donald the higher his numbers will go.
