I'm on the Trump Train in California!

I'm glad it's not the skunk train.

*However, most devout Ted Cruz and Rand Paul supporters that I know are coming unhinged and are down right mean about Trump’s success.*

I find that to be the case as well. Their reason is difficult to grasp. To give support to another candidate is American, but to be berated and called names for doing so is nothing more than an extreme bully would do. Fortunately, most of US admire Brother Ted far too much to fire back at them. However, it does make one consider just who would generate so much anger to voters to make them feel thus. Would this be their flaw or a particular flaw in the candidate? At the moment there is no answer to that particular question.

With the Dems they use blacks for their votes then ignore their needs til the next election.
Meanwhile the GOP use conservatives til they vote then ignore their needs til the next election.
Enough of their crappola, and Trump sends baboso’s like Rubio, McLame, Cantor,McConnel and Ryan a simple message that enough is enough of their go along get along cause everyone be making money and to hell with ideology.
I am for Cruz but love seeing Trump throw monkey wrenches in everyone works.

I live in Winnetka. I’m a Cruz fan as is my wife. A decade ago, she worked for the IL GOP on voter fraud. It was not a good experience. The IL GOP under little Andy McKenna was strongly anti-conservative.

The website for my book is www.gpsdeclassified.com

“Trump has become more than just a candidate. It is a movement. A peaceful revolution. A complete repudiation of POLITICIANS.”............

And importantly, his plan to “Make America Great Again” is BADLY needed. Politicians and Supreme Court judges have let this country deteriorate to the point most people want all of them replaced. Indeed there is a revolution pending, hopefully it will be successful without having to fire a shot.

Ted’s appeal isn’t just to evangelicals; it’s to Conservatives

Just enough to get nominated, not nearly sufficient to win the election.

I think that they have had this preconceived notion for years and years that Ted and/or Rand are supposed to be the country’s final last hope, given the universal feeling among conservatives that the country is going in the wrong direction.
Then comes along Trump in the 11th hour, stealing all the thunder from their particular dream to get the country back. What they fail to realize is that the GOPe is not and was not going to let Ted or Rand even get close to being the GOP nominee. They are not thinking outside of the box and I do not think they realize the severity of the situation because, unfortunately, it is much, much worse than our country just merely going in the wrong direction. We are in uncharted territory.
For me, Trump is the only logical direction; right, wrong or indifferent. Yes, it is a tough pill to swallow for many people and it reminds me of this Don Rumsfeld quote: ‘You go to war with the army you have, not the army you might want or wish to have’.
Make no mistake, this is war.

Your tagline sounds like someone who has given up hope of saving the country and is just enjoying causing disorder while awaiting the inevitable.

Yeah, Trump is not your idea of pure conservativism, but right now, we need an American, and he is American enough for me!

With the persistent liberal IL vote, it’s hard to imagine that there are any really principled conservatives there such as yourself. But obviously there are principled conservatives in every state: a shrinking number of principled conservatives.

I agree with your last sentence. It’s nice to have two very good options this time around. Instead of hold your nose GOPe types to vote for.

Ted may be more “conservative”, and had Trump not entered (and totally changed) the race, he would have won, but now we are done with them.

A bit premature but it may pan out that way - March will give us a clearer picture.

Until then (for those who haven't figured it out)...

Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
We need to ensure we don't get another Obama-like America Hater as the next President.
The best way to ensure that is to actively support a candidate as the next President.
I prefer Cruz and my money goes to his campaign, hence the Cruz link. If you like someone else, donate to him/her (find your own link to do it) and if you use FR and don't donate, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches or those who have Obama Phones because, functionally, you are no different than any other who enjoys the fruits of others' work for your own benefit.

PS - If you are one of those who cannot afford even a small donation to FR or a candidate, God Bless and happy FReeping!.....

GO CRUZ!! Keep it up Trump!!

Donate to FR

Donate to Cruz

Donate to FR
