More seriously, even for Catholics I think this is just personal opinion unless he pronounces it from the seat of Peter.
Can a pope get fired. This guy needs to be fired quick. False prophets leading sheep astray comes to mind.

With all due respect to Pope Francis, if he would actually open the Holy Bible and study it then he would know that his statement basically contradicts Proverbs 14:12.
The Pope also seems clueless to Acts 4:8-12, particularly verses 10-12.
The Pope is not doing his job to evangelize Jesus as Lord and Savior imo.
It doesn’t appear that this one is.

I don't believe you are sincere and don't believe you were ever a practicing Catholic. Besides, once baptized you can't change your soul back. And Catholics would rarely refer to their own faith as "Roman Catholic".
Catholics like me who have problems with this pope and Vatican II innovations stay as traditional Catholics, often attending Latin Mass. We don't go away or reject the faith and beliefs in the Magisterium which haven't changed anyway.

If the pope is correct, the Roman Catholic Church (including the pope) is totally useless and unneeded. This guy is a total moron.
Seems that the Holy Father is determined that Acts 4:12 should be removed from scripture.

The Church does teach that a person who has never had the opportunity to know Christ may still go to heaven through the grace of Christ. Not “will” go but “may” go.
