Well, it seems to me they did ask for it. They should have thought through the whole situation before enlisting. Couldn’t they see the leftward slope of the country for the last 10 years? This was the inevitable outcome.
The point is, a very, very small percentage actually asked for it.
The one’s asking for it are careerists, placing their personal desires over the mission. Contrary voices were ignored.
