(CNN)A driver careened into a crowded sidewalk several times on the Las Vegas Strip, injuring over 30 people in what authorities described as an "intentional" act.
At least one person was killed and 37 others injured near the Paris Las Vegas Hotel on Sunday night, authorities said.
Authorities said the woman was driving down Las Vegas Boulevard before her car jumped onto the sidewalk and struck pedestrians.
She returned to the sidewalk at different spots and hit more people before barreling down the road, according to witnesses.

Justin Cochrane, a property manager from Santa Barbara, Calif., said he was having dinner at a sidewalk restaurant outside the Paris when the incident took place.
The car appeared to be going 30 to 40 mph when it first hit the pedestrians on Las Vegas Boulevard, Cochrane said. “It was just massacring people,” he said.
The vehicle then went farther down the road and drove back into another crowd of pedestrians on the sidewalk, he said.
Cochrane said he couldn’t understand why the car went into the crowd a second time. “Why would it slow to go around and then accelerate again?” he said. “I thought it’s a crazy person.”
This is a familiar terror technique. Call it what it is.
Could have been a medical issue.

The woman driving is African-American...maybe Muslim, maybe Black Lives Matter, certainly, an Obambot, Democrat, adoree!!! We shall see. i keep seeing statements that she’s ‘unidentified’ ... yet, they have her in custody, have the car, know she’s been in the area for a month, and came from oregon.
All schools in Nashua, NH are closed. Not ALL NH schools.
Just what are the odd that the driver was a Muslim? Though since the driver was alleged to be intoxicated that could be ruled out.Since devout Muslims are banned from drinking alcohol.
I do not see any news reports giving her name yet. I keep searching on twitter.
Reports are talking about the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and that most of the victims were from Montreal, Canada and they need interpreters as they speak French!

The vehicle was in the northbound lanes of Las Vegas Boulevard near Bellagio Way when the vehicle drove up onto the sidewalk about 6:30 p.m. in front of the Paris Hotel & Casino and struck pedestrians, including 37 people who were taken to the hospital, Lt. Peter Boffelli said. One adult was killed, six were in critical condition, 26 injured and four were treated and released, he said.
“This is a huge tragedy that has happened on our Strip,” Boffelli said.
The crash in front of the Paris and Planet Hollywood hotels occurred on a busy stretch of the Las Vegas Strip across from the dancing water fountains of the Bellagio hotel-casino where visitors crowd sidewalks as they was walk from one casino to another. The Miss Universe pageant was being held nearby at the Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino at the time of the crash.
