I don’t think I made that claim, but others have mentioned that it is true.
Where I fault StepOnAllofUs, is his continued lies about celebrations on our soil. That has been proven true.
Many folks have backed it up, and there are newspaper reports of it.
Was it thousands? Perhaps so. Is that material if it was only hundreds? Technically speaking, perhaps so, but someone’s impressions of what they remember doesn’t mean they were/are lying. They are telling what they remember, even if somewhat inaccurate.
Trump is on the right side of this, George isn’t even close.
He spun a number of subjects in that interview.
I didn’t think Trump made his case on the deaths our nation caused, but there are cases to be made. We definitely impacted deaths in Libya and Syria, by backing groups that were terrorists.

and almost certain ISIS
While that’s not the same as Putin taking out journalists or others he didn’t like, Trump pounded George on that point. It hasn’t been proven that Putin did those things.
Trump stated that Putin denied having done it, which to me isn’t a powerful point. Who would admit to that sort of thing. It’s a mute point.
It was great to see him Call George on issues when he would try to sell a lie when wrapping up a topic. Trump wouldn’t let him get away with it, and it revealed George for what he was trying to do.
Trump was strong here, and I don’t see anyone else rising to that level in a way where folks could identify with him and be attracted to support him because of it.
Excellent suggestion. Say it enough times and it will start to sink into moderates' and Democrats' skulls.

I've been FReeping for over 17 years now, and the folks we have today are no where near as sophisticated as those of yore.
I support Trump, but favor Cruz. It is particularly distressing to me that those who support Cruz have appointed themselves the guardians of Conservatism, while convincing themselves those who support Trump "just don't understand."
This is a teenager's tactic. I understand perfectly; I just don't agree.
By way of example, ask yourself when was the last time you "won" a debate on FreeRepublic? It used to happen all the time, where the side with the stronger argument was conceded to by the weaker.

You know, I agree with this. And it is the dynamic that backs exactly what I stated > IMO.
I recognize full well what Trump has said and done over the years. I don't see him being that way today. He's pushing for a sound platform, and is very good on the most important issues of our day.
I consider myself realistic when it comes to Trump. I see his flaws and his pluses.
I do not see this dynamic in the Cruz camp, AT ALL.

The Trump team knows his past. They don't like it and see a big change in him. His platform does not reflect his past beliefs.
When I see people challenge Cruz, it's generally on point. The thought may or may not be valid, but at least it is a reasoned attempt to address reality.
Cruz folks come to the Trump threads and call his supporters Leftist, progressives, and worse.
One guy came over to call Trump Hitler, and infer his supporters the supporters of Hitler. LINK LINK Another came over to smear Trump as the "down home" home-boys who bent a man over an object and violated him. This person then compared Trump supporters to the man violated by this person. LINK
So yes, I very much do see the Cruz camp as playing by not only GOPe tactics, but the very Leftist tactics we have seen over the last fifty years, culminating in this most vile of tactics. Think back, doesn't this mimic the "Tea Bagger" ploy the Left used, and other tactic equally as vile?
I do not believe the Trump camp participates in this sort of thing.
Agrabah is the country from Aladdin. Overall 30% of Republican primary voters say they support bombing it to 13% who are opposed. We asked the same question of Democrats, and 36% of them opposed bombing Agrabah to 19% in support...IOW, PPP is a partisan shill organization, rather than a legitimate polling outfit.
