JALALABAD, Afghanistan: Rahman Wali's younger brother was one of 10 Afghan men forced by Daesh militants to kneel over bombs buried in the soil in a lush green valley in eastern Nangarhar province. The extremists then detonated the bombs, turning the pastoral countryside into a scene of horror.

The August killings were recorded on camera and posted on social media like so many Daesh atrocities across the Mideast - reflecting how the Daesh is exporting its particular brand of cruelty as the group seeks to enlarge its footprint in Afghanistan.

"Afghan official uses Facebook to ask president for help against Taliban in Helmand"

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan - In an unusual move, a senior Afghan official has taken to social media to implore the president to send help to his province, saying it could otherwise fall to the Taliban.

Mohammad Jan Rasulyar, the deputy governor of Helmand province, posted a message on his Facebook page on Sunday, telling President Ashraf Ghani that over 90 security forces were killed in the past month fighting insurgents. He says he was unable to make direct contact with the president by other means.

We should NOT use their words. It’s ISIS.

You are exactly right.

Especially the sickening euphemism “ISIL” which is an attempt to include Israel, of the Levant region, as part of the home territory of the Islamic State of Iraq & Syria.

Obama wants to avoid the ISIA designation as it was over Iraq and Syria that he first shat himself in fear.

They don’t care what you call them. I can only quote the source. I think of them as demon worshipers. Same with Hindus. Weird stuff. Anyway...

“But the term “Daesh” (or Da’ish) has also gained currency, both in the Middle East and further afield, and has been used as a way of challenging the legitimacy of the group due to the negative connotations of the word.

Daesh is essentially an Arabic acronym formed from the initial letters of the group’s previous name in Arabic - “al-Dawla al-Islamiya fil Iraq wa al-Sham”. Although it does not mean anything as a word in Arabic, it sounds unpleasant and the group’s supporters object to its use.

Daesh also sounds similar to an Arabic verb that means to tread underfoot, trample down, or crush something.”

Daesh is an Arabic acronym for ISIS. A British muslim who speaks fluent Arabic explained it on the Greg Gutfeld show last night. It contains the word ‘Islamic’ and the word ‘state’ in it so saying DAESH is exactly the same as saying ISIS.

He thought it was pretty funny that the libs think that it’s saying something demeaning or non-Islamic.

Yes that’s news to me.

I’ve heard the liberal clowns say it is offensive to the butchers, like old man Bush calling the enemy sad-dem.

As I say I have been most irritated by Obama and his butt-kissers using ISIL, as if this pestilence has also sprung somehow from Israel and its battle for survival.

To watch that snivelly effer Earnest (or for that matter Obama) talk about ISIL strikes me about as foully as hearing Yassir Arafat sneering about Zion.

Call them Daesh
The locals use it as a derogatory term
IS was threatening a death sentence for people in Raqqa calling them Daesh
So yes, call them Daesh
Or Daesh bags

I like ISIS because it’s throws the term “Islamic State” in the face of delusional liberal elites. THOSE are the people who must wake up to what we’re dealing with...
