Members of the Lexington Militia, Massachusetts Colony, lined up in formation on the town green and waited. When the British Regulars marched into town and saw them they rushed over and squared off facing them, ready for a fight. No one knows who fired the first shot. It was the beginning of a very long day, the first day of our American Revolution, April 19, 1775.
To what extent revolution is in the air today is a matter of perspective. But the parallel here, with the possibility of armed clashes, cannot be missed. Resistance to the gun registration laws of 2013 in Connecticut and New York has been extraordinarily stiff. Estimates for the total number of residents in the two states who have defied the new laws vary, but by any measure they are in the hundreds of thousands.
And each of those residents is risking a felony conviction, as well as confiscation of their firearms, by doing so. Weâll get to why they chose to do that in a moment. The more immediate concern is the risk taken by the states â that is, the potential for violence that now exists if the law is enforced. Enforcement raises the specter of arrests, confiscations, prosecutions, imprisonments, and violence due to miscalculation, misunderstanding, or just sheer resistance to what is seen as a violation of the right of the people to keep and bear arms.

Notice the pResident is clearing Gitmo and the prisons to make room for the (in his feeble mind) REAL CRIMINAL ELEMENT in this country
US...US...US...
In a manner of speaking he is OUR ‘enemy’ as he is getting deeper and deeper in his so called transformation of the country, overloading the system with illegals and Lord only knows what diseases and other maladies they are bringing with them.
Ellis Island may have been ‘bad’ but it did keep the people in place until they could be vaccinated etc to keep from spreading ‘new diseases’.
In Revolutionary times, there were many an effigy burned, representing the officials and the Royal governors.
Some folks forgot that.
Don’t forget, dear reader, that ANY elected official, at ANY level, is more concerned about their continued seating to the office that they were vaulted to, the constituent be damned.
ANY official making public remarks, in video, film, print, text, social, whatever, regarding the denial of the personal safety of the individual, in any manner or form, might have just signed their own death warrant, should someone, anyone see that as a direct opposition to their Right by Nature of self-preservation, in these tumultuous times.
From Lexington,
to The North Bridge of Concord and all the way back to Boston,
the British ,
with intentions of confiscation of arms felt the sting of the Patriots call of “ We Will Not Comply”.
Don’t ever think that ELLIS ISLAND was “bad”.
Ellis Island was the first step in the most PERFECT immigration system ever devised. Millions of people LEGALLY entered the USA seeking the blessings of this country and that island was their first step.
They were tested, checked physically for at the time deadly diseases, entered on DATA BASES (omg), and then released into this vast country, no longer “huddled masses yearning to be fee,” but able to work toward what was truly the American Dream and a better existance for themselves and their generations to follow.
Which would we prefer in 2015/16?
These people became PROUD Americans, eventually bred and raised generations of PROUD young Americans who loved their country even as they honored their foreign roots.
Compare the immigration system of the last century with the unmitigated disaster being inflicted upon us today.
The grace period to turn them in has long passed and so far zip, zero and nada have been surrendered.
Your move City council...
And Ellis Island is where the name Tony originated as many immigrants had tags on their clothing which read: To NY
I don’t mean bad ‘bad’, I was meaning in terms of warehousing, it got old and run down and naturally one has to imagine the Libs made it a corruption zone.
You are correct, it was an excellent way to make sure the ‘newbies’ were disease free- or at least get the needed vaccinations to help stem them - , wouldn’t be a pox on society and learn something about their ‘new country’.
Since we have ‘modernized’ Guantanamo to hold people in comfort and respect (barf) why not start filtering new arrivals through Gitmo.
Of course today NOTHING will work until the North and South borders are secured and Ports scrutinized a little better to slow that end of the ‘illegal entering process’ down a bit.
Again these ‘dreamers’ say it is impossible to locate 15-20 million illegals but ‘just give me the word’ and we will rid the country of 300 million plus weapons.....
Tony originated as many immigrants had tags on their clothing which read: To NY
= = = = = = = = = = = = = =
And another trite word...
Without Papers turned into a ‘slur’ (eventually)
“Throw down your arms, ye villains, ye Rebels, Disperse! Ye villains, ye rebels, disperse, damn you, disperse!”-Captain Pitcarin
“Stand your ground. Don’t fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here.”-John Parker

New tag line. Thank you!
Stay strong patriots.
Do not submit.
Do not surrender.
Stay armed
Stay safe.
The coward tyrants have passed their laws that violate our rights.
Note let us see then enforce them!
If the government cannot round up and deport “11 million” illegal aliens, what chance does it have with 280 million firearms?
Do not bet the farm on that. 11 October, 2001.
