An evangelical pastor on BOR reported that his congregation rose en masse when he quoted Donald's promise to bomb the crap out of ISIS. Later some 200,000 evangelicals downloaded his sermon....not to mention the thousands who read the words online.
The problem with turning the cheek and all is it'll likely get you dead and the dead pool is not where I prefer to be in any struggle for peace and liberty. Turning the other cheek and loving your "enemy" is akin to suicide. Now, didn't the Lord have an issue with suicide and tossing away the gift of life He gave us?
God raised up Pharoh, Herod and Obama without our help. He could raise up Trump without help as well.
If we just “turn the other cheek” to Islamic radicals, it’ll be on the opposite side of the head that they just cut off.
The “meek” might be blessed, but to the radicals, it just a surrender. All we will “inherent” will be sharia law.
This in no time in our history to elect a preacher, we need a leader who will protect your right to worship, not promote a cult disguised as a religion.
At one time, this was the bedrock principle around here. I must have missed where Trump has addressed this. Perhaps he has, but it's not in his Top Ten.

God raises up leaders the nation deserves . We got Obama because people who call themselves Christ followers don’t follow him , they like social justice more.

This is a simple Biblical test for choosing leaders. Trump does not pass this test.
