In the days following the Dec. 2 attack in San Bernardino, Council for American-Islamic Relations representatives partially blamed U.S. policy for terrorist attacks, accused gunman Syed Rizwan Farook’s co-workers of making fun of his beard and sought to downplay comments by Farook’s father linking him to ISIS. Like Muslims throughout the U.S., CAIR officials condemned the attack, but too often with what sounded to critics like subtle caveats.

I guess we will see. I have known CAIR is part of the problem for some time now. They should be treated as terrorist sympathizers because that's exactly what they are.

CAIR invented the term ‘Islamophobia.’ They did market testing. It worked for the gays with ‘homophobia.’ Tested well and the MSM was willing to run with it.
“Phobia” = fear. Irrational. Unfounded. Instead of the thing to be feared (getting blown up) it puts it on the person feeling the fear as if they are somehow in need of psychiatric care. It also serves as a ad hominem attack during any debate.
CAIR has ties with several terrorist organizations. Can see why people would want to avoid them. It’s like sending out Louis Farrakhan to defend you from charges of antisemitism.

Yes, exactly. It’s time for Islam to go through its Reformation. Westernized, peaceful Muslims had better read the writing on the wall. They need to realize that in 30 years’ time (if not sooner), when Europe has its back against the wall because of the assault from the sharia-loving Muslim hordes that have seeped into their countries, stayed and reproduced there, there will be not just “violence” but full-on war. If Europe won’t wage that war, then we here in the U.S. will eventually be forced to.
If they want to avoid that ... and I hope they do ... then now is the time. By the simple geographic fact of living in the U.S., American Muslims are pretty much insulated from the fatwahs of foreign imams and the threat of radical Islamists who are happy to commit jihad on any “apostate” who isn’t willing to kill infidels right along with them. They need to take a stance, go ahead and “cleanse” the Koran of the verses the Islamists use to justify their crap, put that in a separate “old book” and leave it there.
They need their schism. I hope some of them see the need for this and will go forward with it, dangerous though it will be for them.
CAIR represents the kind of Islam Obama and the left supports VIRULENTLY ANTI WESTERN. But, after all, that describes the Obamabastard. Groups like these don’t represent the kind of Muslims Obama wishes to cultivate or listen to.

There was a very interesting article posted about CAIR and how they acted like the terrorist sponsors in the Middle East by giving out perqs to the San Bernadino family.
Not all mosques are radicalized, in fact in one of the most famous cases a small mosque that had a good record of assimilation in the community for many years was hijacked when they sought to get funds to improve their building or build a larger one.
The condition for the loan was to put the guy making the loan on the board of directors.
They agreed and soon he brought in a whole bunch of palestinians and next thing you know with those numbers on his side, he was able to replace the majority of the board with his own handpicked followers. And then he started bringing in radical speakers, etc, over the onjections of the original people.
[This is pretty much how the Nazis took over the churches too- by inserting themselves in church offices and then intimidating any objectors to the point he could switch out the ten commandments for his own and no one dared object.]
The original mosque members tried to sue but the judge took the newcomer’s side. It got physical, IIRC, which only solidified the radicals’ position, letting them play the victim even as the old members were trying to alert the police of what was going on in the mosque... collections for radical causes, etc..
This was apparently the modus operandi in the 90s for hijacking mosques and a lot of it was done with money from the VA jihad /Herndon groups like the SAAR foundation, if I remember right.

My Dad was "sorta" conservative; however, I am a "Radicalized Conservative". Like Farook, the same effect can be expected of the second and third generations of Muslims in the US! :(

The first objective of the Muslim Brotherhood is to purify Islam, which means getting rid of what they consider to be apostates who would “innovative” in Islam. There can be no “moderate” Islam.

The muslim population can read the koran and the surahs. They are doing exactly what it teaches with enslavement of women and murdering everyone not them.

Great responses in this thread. Maybe I am a sucker in believing there are those who believe in the part of Islam that isn’t extreme.
If the answer is to eliminate Islam from America; we are going to have a very difficult time of it just like eradicating liberalism. The country would be a better place without them and all illegal alien residents.
