I take all of them seriously. The problem is, all of Cruz’s support seems to be coming from Carson’s fall. So the two are merely exchanging second place. But in the five polls released since the “shock” DMR poll, Trump is back in front in IA in two, ahead huge in GA, SC, and NH in the other three. That’s not counting the four-five national polls where he maintains his 10-15 point lead and climbs into the mid 30s.
As long as Cruz and/or Trump are in the lead with the other in 2nd place, I don’t concern myself much with the polling results at this stage of the campaign. But I do like to see the GOPe candidates (e.g., Yeb Bush and Little Marco Rubio) place WAY below Trump & Cruz. Let’s deny the GOPe as many delegates as possible.
Yep, Cruz seems to be gradually, inexorably creeping up towards the top of the pack! And this poll is of registered Republicans, not likely primary voters. Among likely voters, Cruz may be doing even better.
“...Interestingly, Rubio has the biggest gender gap when it comes to his supporters. 19.6 percent of female Republicans in Florida support Rubio. Just 10.2 percent of men do....”

Perhaps Florida women are more forgiving of being materially deceived by a man.
No bias there. Just straight news reporting./s
Probably going to soar more now that Rubio just shot himself in the foot by not showing up for work, again, today.
Cruz!
Great news. If Carson drops out before Florida Ted could take it.
As someone else said, standing next to Trump at the debate made it easy for people to make an A/B comparison.
....”Cruz is surging! Cruz is soaring! (Problem for me is that I don’t credit any of the polls). -:)
That would be me as well though I don’t see it as a problem not giving credit to the Polls....especially when the margins shift like the rolling tides. At best it ‘might’ indicate a trend but no more...there’s really no way they can know what people will do once they vote....
Debates shift as well....as does what the candidates actually are given to speak on....rare they are left to really speak their minds.
Then there’s the media who are the other “players” moving the deck chairs.....they get to choose who they want to give air time and discussion to.
It’s a circus.....three rings and all with various acts playing out now at the expense of the candidates who would otherwise be heard. Given that Trump’s leveraged his hand with the media it’s no wonder they hook up 24/7 it’s a win for him and a win for them in ratings.......the show must go on!
If Trump and Cruz split the vote in Florida the either Bush or Rubio can win....by just a few votes. Folks in Florida better do their homework and follow up on their votes.
“Donald Trump: 29.7 percent Ted Cruz: 20.4”
Looks like Trump to me.
“Trump continues to do well with his whackadoo rhetoric in Florida.”

Go, Ted, go!
Limited. He will pick up Bush and Rubio amnesty supporters, but that has an obvious ceiling. Trump still has massive, wait, make that huge lead.
The national polls don’t tell us much at this point but the state primary polls do. I see a pattern that looks familiar.
A so-called moderate/liberal leads big, and so-called conservatives and moderate-conservatives are splitting the vote and trailing as the voters aren’t gravitating to any one candidate.
We know where this led in the last two presidential elections. This time it is working in favor of the wild card, or Trump card if you will. For now. Always have to say for now as polls are an ever-changing snapshot.
The most consistent thing about this campaign is Trump’s trajectory and position since he entered the race.
It is nice to see Cruz finally moving up though, and I wish him well. May the best man win.
The only name that works is President Trump
Cruz surging is the new liberal equivalent of “It’s a quagmire” only this time saying it aint gonna make it so. Go Trump Go.
