It’s also about elitists who think they can skedaddle with their loot and families.
I haven’t read it, but I will after dinner, Laz.
I like to say that there are two parties in this country.
Us and Them.
I suspect that we are on the same page ^^
There’s going to be absolute hell to pay at the first KY Republican Caucus. Burn this imposter party down!
Oh yeah. I think things are gong to get really nasty, really soon.
I will not go quietly into the night.
My party affiliation change was made today. No longer a Republican. Now officially decline to state.
Yes. As I’ve been saying for years. Pull the chain. Flush the congressional bowl. Probably have to yank the chain multiple elections, but we haven’t any choice.
IF Cruz (or Trump) do not get in and put a STOP to all the nonsense, count me in ,,, ALL IN.
Me too.
These are just a few of the comments here.
I have previously said that some people appear to prefer insurgency (and not just of the political variety).
This seems to be the verification of this...
I read it, great essay, and something I have also believed for a good while now. But as a Christian-bear with me-I take it even further. These elitists-whatever their personal cause, or whatever they pretend their cause is, are an ever-narrowing group in this world where power is being both globalised and centralised. What they don’t know, is that power is going to become completely global, and centralised to the point of being in the hands of one man, with ultimate power multiplied by the indwelling power of Satan. They think they know what they’re doing, they have no idea-unless they’re utterly evil, in the strongest sense-of what they’re preparing to unleash.
They did such a good job of replacing the Whigs that they have become the Whigs.
Since Lincoln secession is not permitted..........
And instead they showed up in record numbers and they it turned out and they just defeated Democrats down the ballot. In the process, they elected Republicans to stop this. And now the Republicans have the largest number of seats in the House they've had in Congress since the Civil War. And it hasn't made any difference at all. It is as though Nancy Pelosi is still running the House and Harry Reid is still running the Senate. "Betrayed" is not even the word here. What has happened here is worse than betrayal. Betrayal is pretty bad, but it's worse than that. This was out-and-out, in-our-face lying, from the campaigns to individual statements made about the philosophical approach Republicans had to all this spending.
Count me skeptical of any talk of secession or armed rebellion when folks won’t even get off their couch long enough to fix this by peaceful means while they still can.
Winston Churchill:
“If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”
You again, saying what I was thinking. It bugged me 5 years ago when he would talk “Republican” as though it was his team. They haven’t been on our (constitutional) side for a long time.
But in fairness, even 4 years ago I thought I had to vote Romney to get Obama out of there. I didn’t get it yet. At least now Rush will bring his audience to where we are.
Rush said “You know, just elect Democrats, disband the Republican Party, and let the Democrats run it.” I’ve been saying this for at least 2 years. Stay home on election day and let the republicans all get beat. Then two years later you can replace the democrats will real conservatives. Like Rush said, dems-repubs it’s the same thing.
I would vote for McCain if my life depended on it.
I did vote for Romney because I did not want to see Obama destroy this nation further.
Whatever I thought about Romney, I didn’t think he hated our nation or would be an out and out traitor.
To you point, I hope he does bring his audience along.
We need more folks to grasp what the stakes are.
Ditto to the Romney comments.

Ain’t that the truth.
