I like how Cruz moves from a quote referencing the passing of the bill, then he immediately tries to confuse the audience by saying, “of course I wanted my AMENDMENT to pass.” See the switchoff?
Another observation: Notice that Cruz is NOT dealing with the issue. Bret is asking Cruz about supporting LEGALIZATION short of a pathway to citizenship. Cruz keeps talking about CITIZENSHIP, which he describes as amnesty.
There are two different conversations going on in this interview. Cruz never engaged with the actual conversation, which is his support for legalization.
You use that word, I don't think it means what you think it means. At least not when you use it in reference to Cruz, considering everyone of your posts in reference to him
Legal Residency or Citizenship, I’m not for either but C-ship is a lot worse. Just my view.
Cruz: It’s Sessions fault!
I don’t see how any Cruz supporter can defend this.
I saw this and was disgusted. If they had given obama a hard time during all the 7+ years, I’d not complain about this now. It shows the side of them that I despise.. due to the state our country is in because they let the traitor do whatever.. and gave him the “respect” they thought was due the President.. and then they crucify the ones who would try to fix things the GOP and such, let happen.. helped happen.
O’Reilly tried to tell bret why we are so angry (he got it almost right)... and bret said he knew that... so if he did.. he had no right to give Cruz or Trump a set of questions he did not give to anyone else. I hate the clubs one group sets up and then measures everyone else by their self made rules. You can belong... you cannot belong.. Reminds me of elementary school in the girls circle of rules and conquests.
I’m glad Trump is not bothered by clubs and such!
Catching the deception amuses me
I think Cruz is weaseling through this and I don’t like it.
Despite Cruz not being tough on this in the past, my trust of these candidates on immigration policy is as follows:
1. Trump
2. Cruz
giant gap
3 -9. Rest of field.
Thjs isn’t a disqualifier for me for Cruz and frankly seeing our GOPe media take off after him today makes me dislike the Rubio’s of the world a lot more.
Legal residency will inevitably lead to citizenship, though just jumping to citizenship is obviously faster. On top of that, Cruz is claiming that he never supported legalization, even though he did, and long after the Gang of Eight fight was over.
All politicians are creeps and psychopaths. Cruz is not an especially talented one.
Just remember, when your nether parts get Cruzty, go deep with that washcloth.

I saw this today and thought Cruz was fast talking and evasive.
It is for me. I don't really mind a shift in positions. I think Cruz's position back then was within the realm of the mainstream back then, until Trump shifted the mainstream. The problem is that Cruz is claiming he NEVER supported it, and he's been devious about this issue the entire campaign cycle. Switching your position at some point is one thing. Lying to millions of people on live TV, that's an entirely different thing.
Re:So letââ¬â¢s see how the trumpholes defend that.
Just remember, when your nether parts get Cruzty, go deep with that washcloth.
I don’t know what that means, but it sure as hell ain’t a defense.
Maybe you can tell us how trump is such a great businessman, and delineate how that squares with his multiple bankruptcies.
But I doubt you can.
Go for it.
This was never proven false. Cruz's defenders aren't dealing with the actual issues, but, like Cruz, are trying to talk fast on entirely different subjects, and can't and won't explain why Cruz would support legalization even AFTER the Gang of Eight fight was over.
