The White House declared victory Wednesday over congressional Republicans in the budget negotiations that concluded lateTuesday night, saying Democrats beat back the GOP across the board.
White House officials cited a long list of wins over majority Republicans on individual budget items ranging from funding for Planned Parenthood to an overall increase in spending beyond previous “sequestration†caps.

I am totally confused. What happened when just a short time ago they were talking about a budget that passed (or at least I thought it did) That budget was supposedly for 2 yrs. and had no ceiling on the spending. Was I dreaming?

The key to wnning the budget battle is to have control of both houses of congress and the white house. Otherwise you have a train wreck and the GOP loses the optics.
Republicans did vote big league, with historic wins in 2014. Big celebrations and parties in DC. Even here I was told how wonderful this was. Spit*
Americans once again got conned and hoodwinked. There might be much better solutions to deal with the corrupt.
