Yep. Exact same.
âAmerica firstâ goes against the grain of the global movement.

Mebbe someone could tweet Jenny and let her know we’re having a Rubinathon.
I don’t have an account with Tweet (or Facebook, since I’m a misanthrope ... )
I wonder if Jennifer Rubin even knows that George Washington was an isolationist. Our first elected president advised us to stay out of foreign wars.
Two seconds after Cruz’s numbers went up, the left set up its big guns. They are now going to try to destroy Cruz, like they destroyed Carson.
[[Is it ok for people to support this guy without people on both sides spending time coining goofy names like this?]]
Of course not0- everyone knows Cruz is experiencing a trumpmorphism, and likely to become trumponian later In the race, but not before he commits a trump-pas
Everyoen complaining cruz is ‘parroting trump’ but the fact of the matter is that the issues trump is supporting are very common issues supported by all conservatives- why the heck wouldn’t cruz support similar issues as trump?
I have news for Jennifer and other neoconservatives. There are three alternatives for the Middle East: autocrats (Assad, Al Sisi, etc), rule by Islamists (ISIS, Taliban), or sectarian/tribal civil war (Somalia). As a matter of fact, for most of the Third World, the only alternative to chaos and civil war is autocracy. That people who prefer civil war and chaos to autocracy get to have serious say in US foreign policy is mind-boggling.
If anything Cruz came off as an indispensable running mate for Trump.
Carson more or less self-destructed by showing that he didn't have the first clue on much of anything. I think that Cruz (and to a lesser extent Trump) has inherited most of Carson's supporters once they wised up and realized that there wasn't much of a there there.
Sounds to me like a man who is not willing to rush pell-mell into a ground war in the Middle East, unlike most of his Republican opponents who can’t escalate the war fast enough.
I don't need to read any farther than this.
When you're over the target, you should expect flak.
More like court jester of the neocons.
Rubin - another Jew who hates Jews and loves muslims. I’m so grateful that Jesus is watching this garbage and getting ready.
It’s the WaPo. The libs are piling on Cuz because they are afraid he will save us from The Donald. And a favorite trick of the libs is to use the words of our own against us. You just need to remember who provided the soapbox.
Why would anyuone say that Ted Cruz’ vision had “turned ugly”?
“America First” is not at all isolationist, it is a statement of the very exceptionalism that is unique to the whole concept of “America”.
To say something like anyone’s vision had “turned ugly” is on a par with saying, “God is a horrible entity because He allows bad things to happen in the world.”
Most of the time during the existence of the nation known as “the United States of America”, it was to be a very high calling to do good by doing well. Apparently this concept has fallen into poor repute in recent years, as there is a jealousy and envy of the very successful bordering on vengeful hatred of that success and the badges of that success. But it is the highly successful who have concentrated and directed the efforts of others to also do THEIR best, and in the process, have spread the good will and prosperity far beyond their personal material gains.
“Trickle down”, despite its very bad press in recent years, really does work. There is not, and never shall be, equality of outcome, there is only equality of opportunity, and given that opportunity, people shall continue to rise upward until they hit that invisible but very real ceiling of the maximum of their capabilities, encapsulated so well in something called “Peter’s Principle”.
Only a very few people are able to marshal all their capabilities to rise to the top, and they end up being generously rewarded by material wealth. Others, because of personal inhibitions or simply lack of suitable vision, rise to whatever level of competence of which they are capable, but the error comes when that person is finally promoted to a position beyond his capabilities. This situation is not a problem, unless the position is one that thwarts the further growth of other more capable managers rising to or surpassing that level. What happens then is lateral growth within the organizational structure, and a parallel upward ladder is created, bypassing the original roadblock, and the incompetent that were formerly a roadblock are simply circumvented.
By all odds, Ted Cruz has not risen beyond his potential yet, but there are clearly others up there in competition for the same job who are now in WAY over their depth.
It is not necessary to name names, as there are also several others who themselves are still performing with the expectation they are fully capable of carrying on the duties of the position being sought.
“However, sadly .. âwhen enough people have diedâ ...
Ms. Jennifer Rubio will change her tune.”
Nah, she will do what all Republican traitors do when SHTF. Hide for 6 months, like Rubio did when his amnesty coup failed : )
Jennifer Rubin is another GOPe type who would rather lose to the democrats than win with someone who actually wants to represent the voters.
This has to be a joke. Oh, I see. It's the WaPo's idea of "conservative perspective".
“JMHO. Neo-cons, leftists, one-worlders. All on me list.”
Good list.
And that is PUKENEOS for a proper description : )
The second you use “phobia” to describe the opposition, you’re working for the left and have nothing of value to contribute.
