Hillary Clinton cited efforts already underway in Minnesota as an example of how to fight domestic recruitment of terrorists, using a Minneapolis speech on Tuesday to call for a stepped-up effort but one that respects people of different backgrounds.
"We cannot let fear push us into reckless actions that end up making us less safe," Clinton said in a 45-minute speech at the University of Minnesota. Her campaign billed the speech as a major address on counterterrorism and preventing the radicalization of U.S. citizens into global jihad. "Americans are going to have to act with both courage and clarity."
Speaking to a supportive audience of about 500 people at the McNamara Alumni Center, from a stage festooned with American flags, the Democratic presidential front-runner laid out a five-point plan aimed at making Americans safer at home and abroad.

Here's a good model: Don't fight it, keep it out in the first place.
It is a subtle truth of history that we tend to worship heroes, missing that they are un-necessary without villains, or that, and this applies always to democrats who tolerate and condone them, villains are required in the first place in order for the democrats to cast themselves as heroes.
That's just the more subtle manifestation of 'never let a good crisis go to waste' ... or in Obama's case, 'if there isn't a fire, commence arson.'

Minnesota is the example of what not to do, since we have had dozens of Somalis go to fight for El Shabob and now ISIS. I don’t see why we don’t encourage more of them to go, we should even pay their way. Then, when they leave, just revoke their passports so they can’t come back. Several of them from MN have been killed.
