Wonder how this will work out? Probably as well as the Anti-Terror Coalition led by
Saudi Arabia.

How about that, they created a problem by brow beating nations to take refugees, and now they are the answer to the problem they created.

Sounds like a means to stop member states from acting so that the EU/Brussels force can also not act, to allow more muslimeification of Europe. The member states can not-act while saving face.

I wonder what Hungary has to say about this? This is a violation of national sovereignty and could be used to stop countries from stopping refugees.

Authority of new EU force to supercede that of member states Idiots. Should have learned something from the US Civil war. Once "the Union" is given power, it never willingly gives it up.

EU headquarters is Nazi- infested — this new “euro-wide, euro-supreme military force overriding all national laws and defenses” is the Nazi party wet dream finally coming true. Much more cleverly, too

Bad idea.
Each nation can handle it themselves, or form alliances as needed.
When countries hand over their sovereignty to some kind of über-government, they themselves get relegated to the status of children and there is no guarantee that the "parent's" decisions will be any better.
Just one more layer of bureaucracy when there are already too many chefs in the kitchen.
What exactly will that new force be authorized to do?
Without license to kill, they will be as powerless as mall guards.
What will they be doing between emergency assignments, besides sucking up money?

So what happens when some EU member is deemed to NOT be taking in its fair share of refugees or otherwise not playing nice? Does this supernational force then “intervene”, at the behest of the EU, *against* the member state?
To: csvset
Looks to me as though the EU created a problem for the purpose of expanding their power over the membership.
Wouldn’t put it past them. It’s how the Socialist mind works.

The new agency will have a rapid reaction force of 1,500 guards. What a joke a force of 1,500 could not even provide border enforcement for one Greek island.
This is just the EU trying to look like they are doing something.
