The more of Hollywood’s product you consume, the less you know about the world. The less Hollywood you consume, the more you know about the world.
I know too many people, college educated, who know what they know of history from Hollywood. Our civilization is a veneer that gets thinner year by year.
I’ll go a bit farther. The more of Hollywood you consume, the more likely you are to be morally myopic. Morally deadened.
Once you realize who these people are, the right answer is to turn the channel. Turn them off. Do not give them access to your family’s minds, or yours.
