Former Republican New Hampshire Governor John Sununu got cross with Fox News host Bill Hemmer Monday, accusing Hemmer of promoting Donald Trump after he questioned Sununu's narrative about the Republican frontrunner.
The former Bush 41 official compared Trump to a reality show during an appearance on America's Newsroom, saying that at first people are shocked and riveted, but eventually they lose interest when they realize its all phony. "People are beginning to find out that Trump is a reality show," he said.
But Hemmer pointed out that most polls showed the opposite. "Our polls show that Trump is maintaining his lead, I think even bumped up two points in that poll."
Sununu didn't care for that remark. "You in the press are so infatuated with Trump," he said.
"I'm just trying to figure it out," Hemmer protested.
"No, you're trying to promote it, Bill" Sununu continued. "And it really voters are beginning to see it."
Hemmer took the sally in stride, but did defend himself a few minutes later when closing out the interview. "Not here to promote anybody," he said. "Just here to try to figure it out."

LoL. Sununu have another donut. It’s mostly anti-Trump 24/7 from channel to channel.
Then did SuNO-NO promote Justice Souter as a slam dunk conservative?

Trump adheres to: “There is no such thing as bad publicity.” It doesn’t matter if the media are trying to take him down. He gets air time and that is all he needs. The more they talk about Trump the more free advertising Trump gets.
The old GOPe man is right. Just for the wrong reasons.

I loved Sununu’s book..it was called, “John ‘How I had an incumbent President at 85% approval the year before an election and lose badly’ Sununu”
Bill has been a bright spot in not going along with Faux’s attempts to sell the Opecker Prince candidates.
AS if Sununu is bought and paid for by the establishment that hates Trump.
They sicken me.

The Bushies are coming out still. Dana pppp gave Eric bolling the same flak the other day. So he has a trump bias? Her bush bias is acceptable?
When I heard Sununu today, my first thought was that Bill and Martha have gotten so much flack that he was trying to cover for them.
Sununu is a good rep for what's wrong with the GOP!

Kinda hard to swallow considering the “media” as a whole are in the middle of an all out nuclear attack On Trump. Nice try though.

John Sununu recommended David Souter to GHWB for the Supreme Court.
AFTER THAT, SUNUNU HAS ABSOLUTELY NO CREDIBILITY. ON ANY TOPIC WHATSOEVER.
Even a broken watch is right twice a day. Sununu is correct when he notes that media loves to cover Donald “all sizzle and no steak” Trump.
However, he gave himself away when he said in the same interview that Trump doesn’t care about party.
It’s true that Trump is running for Trump, but the party deserted the American people first and as such deserves no special loyalty.
The elites are desperate...
Actually, I’d put a lot of the blame for the ‘92 loss on that political genius, James A. Baker III.
