A seventh grade student at George Junior High School in Rosenberg, Texas was asked to cover his Star Wars t-shirt because it showed a stormtrooper holding a gun. The students father posted about the incident on Facebook.
Student Colton had worn the shirt before without a problem, but on Thursday of last week, he was asked to cover it with his jacket.
"You're talking about a Star Wars T-shirt, a week before the biggest movie of the year comes out. It has nothing to do with guns or making a stand. It's just a Star Wars shirt," Southern told KTRK.
The Lamar Consolidated Independent School district's dress code stated that any clothes that contained "symbols oriented toward violence" â in this case, a stormtrooper's blaster, would be considered a violation of their policy.
Joe Southern posted on Facebook:
Star Wars shirt banned at school! My son came home from George Junior High School in Rosenberg, TEXAS, and informed me he could no longer wear this shirt to school (which he has many times) because the Stormtrooper has a gun! How absurd!
Here's a picture of the "offender" wearing his shirt:
Colton's father says his son doesn't have "a violent bone in his body. He also said his son is a Boy Scout, active in church and a park volunteer.
"He's just an excited kid for the movie," his dad said.
Loretta Lynch: Ah HA! A possible domestic terrorist! Put him on the no-fly list!
It’s a storm trooper. They can’t hit anything.
Sorry . I hit the button too soon.
Here’s the info:

Your son is a member of an elite paramilitary organization: Eagle Scout!
Government schools are ridiculous liberal PC swamps
I’m guessing the principal was a liberal/Marxist feminazi.
Just a guess.
This is how imbecilic libs "keep us safe"; ban t-shirts, but don't track, investigate or vet those preaching muslim radicalism and terror in the US.
Just another bully school administrator getting an erection. There seem to be so many these days. The next Star Wars TShirt ban will be when a shirt with R2D2 will be deemed offensive to a kid who is short
This has to stop.
I’d kindly suggest that the idiot who sent this child home take a quick ride up to Austin to The State Capitol Building, and upon entering the rotunda take a close look the flags that appear on the floor. There’s a lot of Texans that fought for our freedom - is the intent to sugar coat our history? To deny what personal attributes and what tools were necessary for us to enjoy the life we have here? Let’s be honest with our boys and girls and help them grow up to be men and women. Let’s enable them to understand the cost of freedom.
I had the same lunch box!!!!! Wow. That is a blast from the past. The figures were raised in in a bas relief if I remember correctly.
Asking for it are they. Release the Dark Side on them we may.
Blasphemers.
lame liberal ostrich syndrome; can’t see a picture of a gun means guns don’t exist
Another feature of the State Capitol Building in Texas:
They have a screening line with metal detectors. CHL License holders have separate line to bypass the metal detectors for entry to the Capitol Building
(Which would have ALSO gotten it banned because Miss Kitty was showing some leg....)
Wrong metaphor...school administrators these days are nothing but pussies. They won’t even stand up against Moocheles menu in the crapateria.
“cover his Star Wars t-shirt because it showed a stormtrooper holding a gun.”..........
More propaganda brainwashing people against guns, even pictures of guns, anything, even pop tarts for example.
This nation has gone totally INSANE!
Yet another in a long line of articles that doesn’t call out the Administrator by name - or even attempt to get a statement. Start printing names and this crap will diminish, if not reverse. Most liberals are huge cowards. Duh!
RAT PATROL:
Piece of cloth depicting an imaginary space gun: very bad.
Real bundle of wires making real beeping sounds: okeedokee if its a clock.
