A judge in a British Sharia court told a married couple the wife must divorce the husband, have sex with a different man and wait three menstrual cycles before marrying the husband again in order to validate the marriage, it has been claimed.
In her report on the growing number of Sharia courts in the UK, Dutch academic Machteld Zee, says judges are enforcing harsh rules on women who want to divorce abusive and neglectful husbands, and accuses them of allowing fundamentalists to enforce their ideology.
Breitbart London wrote about her initial findings earlier this month, but now new detail has come to light of the controversial decisions these courts force on women.
In one case, a couple who are concerned their marriage may be invalid are told by judge Furqan Mahmood:
“It is going to be a difficult case. We are going to ask our scholars to give you the answers.”

The judge went on to say that she must then put he right arm in, and then put her right out, do the hokey-pokey and turn herself around. Such an advanced culture... so very compatible with the civilized world.

I don’t recognize the culture you mentioned - the one which “promotes love, kindness, forgiveness, generosity, individual liberty and religious freedom”. Those values used to associated with the American culture pre-1975. Or are you living in a time warp bubble?
Today’s American culture promotes free love in the form of porn, kindness to fellow travelers, forgiveness of cultural foibles, generosity by the State, individual slavery to the tax system, and religious diversity - unless it is Christian for which has zero tolerance.
Can a muslim in in England now demand to be tried under Sharia Law when he murders his daughter for disrespecting their family?

His speech writers are at this moment working on it.. As well as preparing to lecture the Nigerian landlady in MA who has been ordered to be “indoctrinated” in Islam - the better to understand that evil doctrine...so she will NEVER, EVER again mistreat a muslim...
Nigerians have come here mostly to escape the religious prosecution in their own country...most of them are Catholic.

Liberals wear blinders in regards to that ill-named "Religion-of-Peace" and its rejection of Western Civilization values. Based upon a recent, amazingly truthful, statement by an avowed atheist university academic, some are fearful of personal retaliation. Others are so totally fixated on the perceived 'sins' of their society as to be uncaring about others. Then there are the acting nihilists who see Western Civilization as EVIL and only care for destroying it. They care not for what will fill the vacuum!
