The last time I heard something as far-fetched as U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s rationale for leaving his post was O.J. Simpson’s vow to search for his ex-wife’s killer…on the golf course.
I don’t know whether to laugh, cry or be angry. Bergdahl is one troubled young man. Listen to this podcast. I think you will agree.
His reason for leaving his post and endangering the lives of soldiers searching for him is remarkably juvenile. He wanted to expose leadership failures, and test whether he could pull off a Jason Bourne adventure, he says. He wanted to draw attention, like a petulant child who hides and panics his parents just to spite them...

He is a traitor and a deserter and deserves the firing squad.
His recent comments seem to be laying the groundwork for an insanity plea. He should have been left with his Taliban comrades.
I cracked up the other day when a FOX New host said that Blinky Bergdahl likens himself to action hero Jason Bourne. The guest came right back with “He’s more like SpongeBob Squarepants.” LOL! Funny stuff.
Troubled?
That would imply that he may not be responsible for his actions due to a mental condition.
He knew exactly waht the was doing...his mental condition is simply a midget.
He had a stupid idea that he could be some kind of "liaison" with the goat-humpers and be a hero.
He undoubtedly got some of it from his goat-humping sympathizing, similarly mental midgeted father.
Not to mention his probable adulation and worship of the goat-humper-in-chief, barky o'bammy.
I say give the piece of crap a fair courts-martial, pronounce him guilty and hang him from a yard arm.
Barky that is...as for Bergdahl, ship his ass back to the Taliban and see if we can get a couple of the goat-humpers back that barky traded for.

Bergdahl is not as troubled or as troubling as The Won who
traded five Taliban commanders to get him back.
