When in the history of mankind has anyone won a war using a defensive strategy? This question is not rhetorical. I can not think of one.

I believe Trump's statements about not allowing Muslims into this country, represents the beginning of an offensive strategy to win the war.

Obama’s strategy of allowing them to come here results in a defensive strategy for us and an offensive strategy for the Muslims. The Muslims pick the time and place for their attack. Their plan is both physical fear by attacks and emotional immobilization through their attacks in OUR courts. (Hate speech stuff.)

I vote for Trump's plan and whatever is to follow.
