The men in the U.S. military's most dangerous jobs care little about political correctness or gender equality. And they have a message for their political leadership.
When they are fighting in the shadows or bleeding on the battlefield, women have no place on their teams.
In blunt and, at times, profanity-laced answers to a voluntary survey, more than 7,600 of America's special operations forces spoke with nearly one voice. Allowing women to serve in Navy SEAL, Army Delta or other commando units could hurt their effectiveness and lower the standards, and it may drive men away from the dangerous posts.
An overwhelming majority of those who agreed to respond to the RAND survey said they believe women don't have the physical strength or mental toughness to do the grueling jobs.
Some 85 percent of the respondents said they oppose opening the special operations jobs to women...
"I weigh 225 pounds, and 280 pounds in full kit, as did most of the members of my ODA (a 12-man Army Green Beret unit)," one respondent said. "I expect every person on my team to be able to drag any member of my team out of a firefight. A 130 pound female could not do it, I don't care how much time she spends in the gym. Do we expect wounded men to bleed out because a female soldier could not drag him to cover?"
Another said politicians don't win the covert wars.
"Gender equality is not an option when the bullets are flying," he said. "Most males in the area of the world I work in would rather back hand a female than listen to her speak. There is a reason we send men to do these jobs."

Special operators in Afghan, throughout Middle East, Africa....and it’s true. Females aren’t held in esteem as warriors in those locations. They would not be listened to.
Congress might review the new policy. Pray to God that they have the balls to do something to stop this utter madness.
Ashton Carter and Barack Obama will stomp their feet and throw a hissy fit when the hear of this.
Unfortunately, the guys who were PC enough to get promoted into decision-making roles have watched too many moves where women run around spraying bullets and winning in hand-to-hand combat just as well as the men.

Congress is in charge of the rules and regulations of the military. Cruz and crew could put a stop to this today.

If they can hold out for a year, maybe we can send relief their way.
If I were Trump or Cruz, my first act would be to ask for the resignation of the entire DOD and General Staff on my desk the following morning.
I’d then reactivate known, retired warriors until the battlefield commanders Obama has in place can be tested for warfighting capability.
No way women should be in these units. The lives of our troops HAVE TO BE more important than PC.
They might backhand first. Some like rough fore-rape.

Send all-girl teams
There would be a house cleaning like never seen before if I was elected. Nobody above a mid-level, appointed, executive position in any agency would remain. To heck with the courtesy tradition, I would clean house. Anyone who had policy making or advising status would be out.

The A Team respondent is correct. Sadly the SOCOM CG turned in zip. The Gens suck up to Obama. I recall some big men in 67-75 like a 6’ 6” 280 lb. SGM and a Major whose chest had to be 50 plus inches. Maj Calvin Gore was killed when the MACVSOG jet crashed in 70 or 71.
