Ali is the most overrated fighter in history. I saw his last fights on TV when I was a kid. He is an arrogant jackass that Mike Tyson would have destroyed when Tyson was in his prime.

Indeed, he was an obnoxious African muzzle. I watched many of his fights and witnessed the way he was allowed to break the rules, losing many fights, yet was awarded the win. He had so many rules violations, any other fighter would have been disqualified.

But that’s when HE wasn’t in his prime. That was the thing about Ali, he kept fighting and fighting, and he was never knocked out, he was still pretty as could be, but then he DID start getting knocked out in those last few fights, and one of them apparently jarred something loose that couldn’t grow back together and he became the poster boy for punch-drunk he is today.

Pop hated him - I enjoyed his ability to annoy and market his own hype.
Trump would be wise to thank Ali for his comments & then coin the phrase "Trump the Slump" with a very public thank you to Ali for giving Donald the idea.
