I scanned his wiki page. Stopped reading after the sidebar stating place of birth and religion.

Trump needs to buy property in St. Petersburg and then sue this POS if he tries to enforce this “ban”.

"You make a ridiculous statement, so you answer with a ridiculous statement," Kriseman said. "There are some people who thought I was seriously going to ban Donald Trump from St. Petersburg, and that's obviously not something I would try to do. But his statement was kind of ridiculous, so I thought that it deserved an equal response."

Trump's fans took note, though, and barraged Kriseman's tweet with scornful replies. Kriseman said some people didn't quite grasp his intent.

Yeah, I’d like to see him attempt to prevent the President of the United States (which Trump will soon be) from going anydamnwhere in the United States he wants to go. In fact, I’d like to see him try to stop any citizen who wasn’t fresh out of prison on parole for some heinous crime from visiting St. Petersburg. Talk about egg on his face. Who the heck do these wannabe leftist dictators think they are?

Donald Trump's controversial comments Monday calling for a "total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States" were followed with outrage on social media.

Schools in the mayor's town may experience a "lock down" on occasion because of shootings or terrorists action. The White House is locked down more often that we would like to see. The "Lock Down" is an immediate and effective method to secure control of a situation while minimizing potential damage.

Trump made a common sense and logical statement for action to protect citizens of the USA, until such time that we understand the nature of the threat and have appropriate counter measures.

Lock Downs are not permanent, but temporary actions to control a situation before returning to a new normal, are they not?

Real news yesterday: (a) Iran violated its agreement, (b) The SB murderers were revealed to have been funded by outside sources, (c) The SB murderers were on police radar before the attack and nothing was done.

All that real news was obscured by a loudmouth idiot Clinton supporter named Donald Trump who called for an unconstitutional policy last night.

Not only are you an anti-Semite, sheikdetailfeather, but you couldn't think enough steps ahead to beat a toddler at checkers.

This tool is so upset that Trump would ban people that he decides to _ban_ Trump.

The mind boggles.

Was the mayor riding a full size tricycle and wandering the streets of St Pete not remembering why he was out there?

The mayor is not thinking very far ahead. Suppose Trump becomes president. Lots of federal money flows into cities. Suppose all the federal offices and federal money is pulled out of St. Pete?

(St. Pete is almost as liberal as those artsy towns in Arizona; the ones where everybody not making pottery and beads are authors or agents.)

I am hereby barring Donald Trump from entering St. Petersburg until we fully understand the dangerous threat posed by all Trumps. — Rick Kriseman (@Kriseman

Sarcastic hypocrisy? A cute device, but the difference is one is already a US citizen and those Trump proposes halting are not.

I'm guessing this local official has expressed sympathy for the State Governors who have told the Federal government they won't accept 'refugees' in their states, huh?

The Trump fans in St. Petersburg should march on city hall and hang effigies of his dishonor and in general make a lot of noise, but clean up your mess before leaving.

Ask for his resignation and while at it ask if he’s a Muslim agent.

Sorry, mayor, you simply do not have the authority to ban anyone.

Go pound sand.

Typical liberal reaction. Someone says or does something you don’t like, take away his Constitutional rights.

If this guy is representative of most Jews, I can see how the Nazis had such an easy time rounding them and sending them off.

They cannot even figure out who’s trying to defend them.
