These are AP's terms. But apparently the connection between being a devout, fervent Muslim and being a mass murderer cannot be made.
But they were not insane; they became more devout. Until we decimate them, we will face this time and time again.
Ah, now we have the term that describes ‘radicalized’ - devout. The more devout, the more radical a Muslim becomes. What does that say about the Koran and Islam?
Devout = terrorist
And in the same vein, they try and equate that “devout(ness)” with actual Christian piety. The issue for them is still the revolution.
Islam is like any other cult. The deeper you go, the worse it gets.

Islam is the only religion I can think of that, the more devout you become, the worse a human being you become.
The deeper you go, the more likely you are to saw someone’s head off.
Devout Christians become more likely to work at a soup kitchen or pester people with tracts, or pray for people behind their backs. Devout muslims tend to bully defenseless people and occasionally to massacre them.

Japan has few draconian laws, and cops are lightly armed.
Yet Japan is LIGHT YEARS safer from terrorism:
They have sane immigration policies.
There are probably less than 50,000 Muslims in all Japan, the world’s #3 economy.
