Hate Rhetoric: New York Daily News Labels NRA’s Executive Wayne LaPierre a 'Terrorist'
Breitbart ^ | 12/04/2015 | John Nolte

Our beloved elite media loves to fabricate a major freak-out over “rhetoric” whenever a Republican says something they don't approve of (like the truth).

But when it comes to actual hate rhetoric and the kind of fear-mongering that could get someone hurt, no one is worse than the elite media. Case in point: Friday, on the front page of the New York Daily News, the NRA's Wayne LaPierre is attacked in big red letters as a "TERRORIST."

LaPierre's mug shot resides right next to actual terrorists Syed Farook, Robert Dear, Adam Lanza, James Holmes, and Dylann Roof.

This is only the most recent example of the elite media spewing hate at those of us they disagree with.

As the media sees its influence wane in public opinion polls looking at guns, Syrian refugees, Donald Trump, ObamaCare, and Global Warming, their obvious frustration is bubbling over into outright rage.

Ten days ago, on no less than "Meet the Press," much of the hour was spent comparing Republicans to Nazis.

Earlier this week The Washington Post's Chris Cillizza fear-mongered by smearing Donald Trump as a "real danger."

Who’s still naive enough to think this country can survive without breaking up?

Well next step is all NRA members are Terrorists. I truly hope the NRA keeps its membership database verrrrry secure. I imagine Zero would love to get his grubby hands on this database.

This paper, as well as Salon, Slate, Gawker, etc. cannot survive without getting tons of clicks.

Too many conservatives see these outrageous headlines and click through to see the rest of the article - and the rest is invariably as sensationalistic, illogical, and uninformative as the headline.

Don't click through! Starve them!

{”This should be good for another million NRA members.”}

I joined yesterday, just out of spite for Obama, liberals, Democrats.

Next quarter I will increase my donation to FR for the same reason.

Also another donation today to Cruz.

This isn't grandpappy's NY Daily News.

Older FREEPERS probably remember back to a time when the NY Daily News was the go-to daily
for the hard working, tax-paying, blue collar, patriotic, "America - Love It Or leave It" reader.

That was in a far different world than we live in today.

Absolutely. Some FReepers get all jazzed about not reading articles beyond the excerpt. Newsflash: Some of us are not going to give these sites hits.

It’s virtually impossible for a public person to win a libel suit.

He is not a public person. He is a director of a private organization.

might be hard but not impossible- many stars have filed and won libel suits

Syed Farook is a terrorist. So is Dylan Roof. Adam Lanza and James Holmes are certified mental cases. Robert Dear probably is too. So is the editor of the NY Daily News if he thinks Wayne LaPierre is the same as any of them.

That’s to be expected from NYC. Herblock, in the Washington Post used to draw the most vile cartoons showing the NRA actually shooting people.
And remember how the MSM reviled Charlton Heston when he became NRA President.
I remember when California tried to ban handguns with Prop 15 back in 1982. One man who went to a pro-gun meeting was actor Roy Rogers. The media turned on him like a junk yard dog.

There is a difference between Farook and other nutcases ... he has a WHOLE WORLDWIDE TERROR ORGANIZATION BEHIND HIM intent on bringing the USA and the West to its knees.

The other nutcases are merely individual incidents, not an apocalyptic movement.
