No intent to say man is a contributor but that the entire house of cards falls down on them if it is irrelevant whether the earth heats up a bit or not, no matter the cause.
I found an interesting article at 18K Yrs History.
Clearly, at earlier points in human history temperatures have been higher and civilization actually advanced more during those times as opposed to cooler temperatures. That article is long but very informative.

Another interesting point is that according to studies, CO2 was much much higher than today- the alarmists like to say that 400 ppm is the ‘tipping point’ yet we know from studies CO2 was as high as 800 ppm and likely even higher at times
