My take is that cowards would claim to be HIV positive knowing that they could get out of the Draft.
Doing this closes that loop hole.
At least I hope that's their reason for doing this. If it's to demonstrate "inclusivity" then they are out of their minds.

It is sad reality that most otherwise intelligent people depend upon tribal instincts for knowledge about obscure science. Obscure facts are an opportunity for those selling solutions to problems few people understand. When global warming doesn’t conform to facts, and not all atmospheric science professionals can be bribed or threatened, gradually change the threat to “global change”, which is obviously always happening. Great point Forgotten Amendments.
It isn’t just Duesberg, a brilliant scientist who regrets having left the Max Planck Institute, not understanding the dangers implicity in government-directed research funding. How many individuals have we killed by forcing gene termination treatments upon people? The inventor and Nobel Prize recipient for developing PCR, Kerry Mullis, doesn’t care about tribal association. Without PCR the retrovirus which is almost never found in cadavers who die of “AIDS” is usually not detectable. That is not how a virus destroys its host and Mullis is a real scientist who values truth.
The HIV myth will someday have books written about it, like the books about T.D. Lysenko, who reputedly destroyed Soviet gene research for almost four decades who controlled genetic research funding by applying dialectical materialism to determine agricultural directions and investments for the USSR.
The list of doubters continues to grow as scientists who know raising the issue will likely cost them their NSF and NIH grants, funding without which tenure means little, retire. By questioning Gallo and Fauci, whose careers have blossomed, scientists lose their grad students and can’t obtain the grants which are the lifeline of research scientists. The pharmaceutical industry is not evil, but depends enormously upon the FDA. Their money is the milk of congressmen from around the country and lawyers like those whose careers often focus on one perceived insult; just look at the asbestos bar, a sad racket that has destroyed some of our greatest companies using tactics that depend upon ignorance and propaganda.
I can relate, obviously without names, a sad comment by a senior research scientist at one of our most prominent pharmaceutical houses. When Mullis’ clear description of facts was mentioned, as scientist explained that Mullis is best known for discovering the prion, which, he said, explains the infection process, and knows nothing about cancer. That is simply not true, and the prion hypothesis is but one of dozens of hypothesis since dismissed, for HIV transmission. And last I looked, even the French scientist, Luc Montagnier who separated what is known as the HIV virus now agrees with Duesberg, that the HIV virus is most likely a “passenger virus”. The retrovirus identified by Montagnier appears to be a little less virulent than the virus resulting in cold sores, appearing when the immune system is weakened, and a common indicator of an impending cold infection.
There have been prolific denials her at FR, reminding of the political positions around nuclear safety, but every attempt at explaining the infectious process has failed. There has never been epidemic growth where data were reliable (almost no African tests were performed upon people who died of the usual causes, malnutrition, poor hygiene, drug use).
Israel can’t afford to bow to lobbyists to sustain a myth, not unlike global warming, for which there is no scientific justification. Ask the San Francisco division of Act Up, the gay activist society that praised Duesberg for the lives he saved by confirming the facts causing many of them to reject the “cocktails”, reject drug use, many of them barely alive. They performed the tests on human beings our medical community, understandably, couldn’t perform. From virtual cadavers I saw many of these survivors with their partners at the announcement of Duesberg’s book, written in self defense, “The Myth of the AIDS Virus”.
Doctors are seldom scientists. We probably know doctors who only take a flu shot because they need to keep their jobs. That is how so many, like Arthur Ashe and the young Florida girl treated by an dentist with AIDS died, being treated with gene terminators; chemotherapy drugs that were known to be lethal. Honest can be hard to find. Israel can’t afford to subscribe to myths. Duesberg has too much integrity. Gallo made 100 million dollars each year from his mis-gotten patents for the HIB test. One of his lab scientists took the rap for stealing the Montagnier sample and publishing it as his own. HIV-positive Magic Johnson was warned not to take the cocktails and now plays celebrity tennis. There are hundreds or thousands like him. The percentage of applicants for the armed forces, always tested for HIB, who tested positive has not changed in over twenty years.
Pity those poor medics who will have that blood all over them.
