Here was three Muslims who worked at a Ford plant in Dearborn, who celebrated that day. Now in a court case and impossible to deny. If these 3 could high five in front of UAW deer hunting union men, think what Muslims were doing in the privacy of their homes.

Trump has said repeatedly that he is not exaggerating. He saw, on the news, thousands and thousands of Muslims celebrating. Giuliani may think he's backing Trump up but he's just showing that Trump was wrong.

Nobody disputes that some were. The question is numbers: a few or “thousands” per the usual Trump hyperbole.
A friend of mine was side kick on the Star and Buc Wild radio show in NYC on 9-11. The phone lines all reported Muslim celebrations. He had video of them across the river from the WTC.
There are said to be, depending on source, between 160,000 and 200,000 Muslims in NJ.
If 2,000 celebrated (the lower limit on “thousands”), that would be between 1% and 1.3%.
That’s not a lot.
This is one time the MSM will not succeed. There are lots and lots of people who remember this!..........................

I thought about searching through all these threads on the "Remembrance Archive: Free Republic Threads From 9-11-01" to see what references I could find, but then I decided it doesn't matter. Whether there were thousands of Muslims celebrating in NJ or merely hundreds there with thousands in other states does not matter.
Similarly, had Hillary merely misjudged the number of bullets fired at her, claiming "thousands and thousands" when it was just hundreds as she dodged Bosnian sniper fire, I doubt that anyone in the media (or for that matter even conservatives) would care about the error. The real issue was Hillary remembering something that didn't happen at all, thinking she was dodging sniper fire when she actually was receiving flowers from a cute little Bosnian girl.
We know that is not what happened with Trump. We all remember the Muslims celebrating in the streets and on rooftops, both here in the US and overseas. The rough number celebrating in NJ (whether hundreds or thousands) is intentionally being hidden and scrubbed from records, but we all know it happened, and there are surviving records that it happened.

I watched the interview. Guiliani made it clear he wasn’t sure about the numbers in NJ.
At least, he cleared up my hazy memory that muslims, indeed, celebrated in Bk’lyn & Queens.
There are quite a few FReepers myself included, who watched celebrations in a number of cities. The MSM stabbed themselves in the heart on this one.

I think in his mind, he may have conflated the domestic Muslims celebrating and the video of the ones overseas. Understandable — it happens to all of us at one time or another.
“Thousands” appears to be the sticking point. There were Muslims in New Jersey (and Detroit and other places) celebrating 9/11, but the video is from the Middle East. That’s where the thousands were. it appears the number here who OPENLY celebrated is smaller.
But Trump appears to have run the massive demonstrations overseas together with the smaller domestic ones in his mind. A perfectly understandable lapse.
