Donald Trump held a press conference today with black pastors today, saying that it was an amazing meeting and that he did get endorsements from some of the black pastors in the room. This was verified by another attendee standing at his side, who said some of the pastors were meeting Trump for the first time and wanted to go back and pray before they made a decision to endorse Trump.

The first and second sentences contradict each other.
The first has Trump boasting that he received endorsements from black pastors (100, or fewer?).
The second has those black pastors waiting to make a decision whether to endorse The Donald or not.
Trump refuses to back down on his statement that he’s received endorsements from 100 black pastors. Even when the evidence for those 100 endorsements just doesn’t exist.

All these recent articles hinting darkly that Trump will be finished because the black and hispanic “minorities” and evangelicals are turning against him are for one purpose:
