Jeremy Corbyn should resign over his "unacceptable" behaviour towards Syria air strikes vote, former Labour ministers have said as the first senior figures in the party break cover against his leadership.
Ex-ministers Fiona Mactaggart and John Spellar have urged the Labour leader to take the "sensible" decision to stand down because of the damaging divisions his leadership is creating.
Former Home Office minister Ms Mactaggart said his position had become âunsustainableâ while fellow ex-minister Mr Spellar said Mr Corbynâs behaviour over the Syria vote had been âunacceptableâ.
A third ex Labour minister minister Frank Field said that the party "needs an alternative leader".
The Birkenhead MP told Iain Dale on LBC that the current turmoil in the party will go on "until there's a credible leader as an alternative and that is nowhere in sight.
He said: "There'll be no challenge to Jeremy until we have somebody emerge who's got the stature, who looks like a leader of the Labour Party, more importantly a Prime Minister in waiting."

Hussein tends to do - afterwards, he tried to help in any
way he could.)
That was quick.
BTTT

Worse if you can imagine.
