If you are still confused about how Donald Trump is walking away with the Republican nomination for president, look no further than his swift, reflexive, fearless, and unvarnished response to the terrorist attack in Paris.

Love this article. Astute and fair about Trump. How refreshing.
What happens when his customer base changes in the general?
He's spoken positively about socialized medicine in the past...
“He’s spoken positively about socialized medicine in the past...”
Not so much anymore.
L
I only wish Trump had run in 2012.
Actually he still could.
I've been likening Trump to the successful sales manager all along
Everything about politics is salesmanship ...
The product, the presentation, handling objections and the close
and Donald Trump knows his product and sells it by letting you sell yourself
Do you WANT it in green ?
I need your OK right here ... !
As a matter of fact, every piece of trouble we're in today is the result of good salesmanship
the salemen sold a particular (powerful) prospect, who bought and the salesman expected the sold prospect to cloverleaf FOR him
Brilliant
I would ad [sic] that it is mainly Pubbies who see politics as marketing & sales.
The Democrats (and GOPe) see politics as turf-war. Winning is what validates their existence.
“As a matter of fact, every piece of trouble we’re in today is the result of good salesmanship”
No, deception. There is a difference.
Trump is a politician if not an insider. As a politician he is also a salesman and the product he sells is himself. What makes Trump so popular is his ability to close the deal which he is always doing with his perspective customers (the general public).
making the sale is winning
I think we're all in the same book, just not on the same page
:: making the sale is winning ::
If that is true then free-markets and capitalism are doomed “to the dust bin of history”.
I guaranTEE that making the sale that pays a week's wage IS winning
It's just as much time, as much work, but more lonely and frustrating than punching a clock for 40 plus hours
monkeys punch clocks, salesmen are mental gymnasts
