Americans' Own Healthcare Ratings Little Changed Since ACA

Americans' overall satisfaction with the total cost they pay for their healthcare has been generally stable over the past 14 years.

.....Americans cite cost as the most urgent health problem facing the U.S. today. One might expect that their satisfaction with healthcare costs would drop after the Affordable Care Act (ACA) brought more previously uninsured people into the system and made changes to coverage. However, satisfaction with healthcare costs has remained relatively stable. The current 57% who are satisfied is lower than the 62% measured in November 2009 -- the year before the ACA was signed into law.

Frank Newport seems to be trying to cover for Hussein.

His own data clearly shows satisfaction with cost his down 5 points, and dissatisfaction is up 6 points.

An 11 point swing is not insignificant.

Add to that the fact that millions have lost coverage and/or their doctor and/or their plan that they liked.

Obama's claim was declared "Lie of the Year"...yep, Frank is covering for the occupant of the Oval Office.

Absolutely. Everyone I know is livid over how healthcare has been damaged. It costs a lot more and you get a lot less. It’s insulting that the media thinks they can tell us that opinions are stable.

They can all go to hell. I am angry besides being “dissatisfied”. In the 5 years, I’ve had plans terminated 3 times and my premiums have increased almost 100 percent.

...The current 57% who are satisfied is lower than the 62% measured in November 2009...as usual, the old "Base Rate" problem - a five percent drop is significant when considered against the fact that only about fifteen percent of the population were ever without coverage and affected by the adoption of Obamacare - of those, about one-third were Medicaid eligible and thus would have incurred no costs when finally obtaining insurance, and most of the other two-thirds still are not covered so also have no costs.....
