It's just one of those situations that requires patience. Y'know, patience, like everyone's been advocating for over four years now. Syria is a quagmire, and we're watching a bunch of our enemies fight each other either directly or by proxy. We need to concern ourselves with the 'refugee' invasion, which is part and parcel of the illegal immigrant invasion.
