I wonder if they’ve interviewed families of Christians in Syria who have been forced to their knees then beheaded. Have the talked to Christians fighting for their lives in the Mideast, who have watched their friends and families crucified, drowned in cages, molested and dismembered?
Nah, there’s no story there. Better to interview a Syrian refugee who got in.

I hate the sound bite nature of modern “news.” This is the equivalent of impressionistic art. It doesn’t give you data. It encourages you to emote in the dark.
OK, he has three sons. What happened to his wife? Why? Any daughters, and if so why not the same concern? What would he like to see done to push back against those who killed his wife, if that’s what happened?
