The reason you get annoyed when I point out that showman Trump is a clown is because you know there’s a lot of truth to it. He’s a reality TV star, whose been in the limelight, and people flock to celebrities. That’s about all he has going for him — that, and his brash sound bites.
The formidable candidate is Cruz, principled and precise and dogged. Not a ham-handed bull in a china shop like Trump.
No, what annoys me is your belittling of Trump supporters.
Your continued insults of people who Cruz is going to need if he wants to win is both obnoxious and stupid.

Yeah, and I’ve posted screeds against lawyers. It’s a tough one, because he comes across, to me, as being one of a very few high level lawyers on a right path. One who would follow law as intended, defend and hold to our Constitution (he knew it in high school). Maybe he’s not a business success, but one who could bring us back true to our Constitution appeals greatly to me.

Yes, that’s true, I agree. I can’t see any point at all in Trump supporters and Cruz supporters attacking each other.
It is very possible that we could end up with a Trump Cruz or Cruz trump ticket. Or it is possible that we could end up with one and not the other, and it does no good to burn bridges.
Neither candidate is perfect, both are flawed, but I do believe that both men love America.
I don’t think people who support Trump are any thing other than people who want a leader to kick ass and take names to be perfectly honest.
We really are at a time in our history where a leader who is a fighter is needed.
I think both of these men fit that bill, and I am sincere on that.
it does us no good to alienate supporters of either man.
In the end it’s going to be against islam and elements of our own government and all the people that they have brainwashed among our population.

I totally do not understand the bitter warfare. I would never criticize Trump. We would be fine with Trump as president.
I prefer Ted Cruz, but he’s like 44. I firmly believe he will be president of the United States someday.
But if Trump is the one who can get elected now, I’m okay with it.

As someone who also supports Ted Cruz, I can sure see myself voting for him, but I don’t know, some of his supporters are some real condescending dickwads. Like you for instance.

I think Cruz would make a fine president, and I think Trump would make a fine president.
I am not able to visualize in my mind at this time who it’s going to be or if they will share a ticket or what, but i will say that I have criticized Trump on some things, and I have also criticized Cruz on some things.
I am an honest man, and if I disagree with a candidate, i will definitely voice it. But such criticism does not mean a candidate has lost my support.
I wasn’t pleased with Trump jumping on the Politico bandwagon story about Carson. I’m okay with him attacking Carson politically, but I want the attacks to be legit, and Politico is not legit. Don’t use left wing band wagons to attack our guys, even though Carson is not my guy, and I do not support him.
I also wish that Trump would really focus in on what he wants to say and basically ramble less. In comparison, I think Cruz is a far more polished speaker than Trump. Cruz is a laser. This could aid greatly in a run against Hillary.
I was angry with Cruz’s vote for the Corker bill. This is not something that I can understand. I’ve heard his explanation, but it doesn’t justify voting for it in my mind. However, I choose to drop this and not hold it against him. I still believe Cruz is a good man. Everyone makes mistakes. I make mistakes. I’m glad some people have looked past some of the things I’ve done in my life, so I look past this with Ted.
I do not know which of these men, if either, will still be standing once the Florida primary arrives. AT such time, I will choose which one to vote for in the primary.
All I can say at this point is that if neither of them are in the FL primary, I’ma be real damn sad.
