A University of Mary Washington poll shows Ben Carson and Donald Trump as front-runners in Virginia for the Republican presidential nomination - reflecting national opinion.
Carson and Trump are both backed by 18 percent of registered Virginia voters, according to the recent poll by UMW's Center for Leadership and Media Studies.

According to the UMW poll, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio was third in the GOP field in Virginia with 10 percent, followed by 7 percent for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and 6 percent for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul each had 5 percent, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz 4 percent, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and businesswoman Carly Fiorina 3 percent each and former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore was at 2 percent.

"Soy un perdedor.....I'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me."
My sister graduated there in 66. It is liberal NOW.
If Jeb! is a loser at 6%, what does that make my Cruz at 4%? :-(
Little by little Saint Carson is being exposed for being the lightweight liberal that he is. Last I heard him and Armstrong Williams are over in Syria desperately trying to find those Chinese soldiers. Damn, they have to be somewhere.
I wonder if this was the poll that had Carson in the lead not to long ago?
19% undecided at this point?
Rubio is running out of time to get on the ballot in VA. From what I’ve seen only Trump, Cruz and Bush have taken steps to get on the ballot here.
Yeb! is still the RNC/Cheap Labor Express favorite, even though the voters don’t want him.
We didn’t want McAmnesty or Romneycare, either.
Didn’t seem to matter.
They will have a harder time making a Yeb! nomination look legitimate.

So the GOPe is thinking of running Webb as an Independent, to try to keep Trump from getting elected - which means getting Hillary elected?
Interesting, all we heard for months was that it was Trump who wanted to get Hillary elected - not THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.
