French warplanes struck Islamic State militants in Syria, two days after attackers carried out a coordinated assault on Paris killing 129 people.
Prior to the attack, France had been sparing in its strikes against targets in Syria.
News reports in France said the airstrikes were focused on Raqqa, the city in northern Syria that is the self-proclaimed capital of the Islamic State.

Nothing less than the complete and utter levelling of Raqqa will do. Wipe them out. All of them. WW2 wasn’t ended by surgically striking a porta-john. It was ended by total, horrific destruction and the fear of more to come. I’m not saying we need to go nuclear here, but frankly, I’m tired of hearing about the 247824th second lieutenant to the head of logistical preparations for food supply to ISIS getting tagged in a drone strike.
