Conservative suspicions of refugees grow in wake of Paris attacks

BEAUMONT, Texas - For John Courts, the terrorist attacks in Paris that killed 129 provided yet more evidence of something he has long suspected: Syrian refugees are not to be trusted.

"I think they're wolves in sheep's clothing," said Courts, 36, a police officer in this industrial town in southeast Texas who attended a political rally for Donald Trump Saturday. "Bringing those refugees here is very dangerous. Yeah, they need help, but it's going to bring terrorism right into our front door."

Courts was relieved a few weeks ago when Trump first promised to kick all Syrian refugees out of the country and not allow any more in. Other Republican presidential candidates have been much more restrained on the issue - until the Paris attacks, which have been blamed on Islamic State terrorists.

Concern about Syrian refugees entering the country has been growing among conservatives for months. They have seen the video footage of ruthless Islamic State fighters and read reports of these terrorists beheading Christians, torturing hostages and killing in the name of their faith. They assume that terrorists capable of such acts would pose as refugees. And they are uncomfortable that most Syrians are Muslims - making it all the more difficult to distinguish terrorists from innocent refugees.

Since Friday, several Republican presidential candidates have called for Christian refugees to receive different treatment than Muslim refugees. Former Florida governor Jeb Bush said Sunday that the U.S. should focus on "Christians that are being slaughtered." Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas said the country could continue to provide "safe haven" for Christians but not "refugees that may have been infiltrated by ISIS."

Concern about Syrian refugees entering the country has been growing among conservatives for months.

Liberals, on the other hand, ignore the obvious and continue to sing Kumbya.

“They are all just a 20 something radicalized muslim male invasion force. Other than that no problem.”

The older and younger Muzzies mostly support them with silence and under the table financial support.

Jihad/struggle is the core tenant of Islam. In order to be a good Muzzie you have to either be actively engaged in it or you can support it by contributing financially under the table, by having children, moving to other countries not under Sharia, etc.

Liberals are a minority comprising only 24% of the U.S. electorate (accordingly to Gallup). They wild ideas are driving the moderates out of their ranks and into the conservative camp.

Also according to Gallup, conservatives make up 38% and moderates, 34%.

uhhhh, I don’t mean to be redundant

Why are we not trying to prevent the Christian ME genocide that Obama is supporting?

Why are we importing genocidal muslims and not the targeted Christians?

Yeah, they need help

Yes, a bible and a pound of bacon. Before they get here. Once they join civilization, the outcomes should be better.

Even before Paris, only an idiot would want more muslims.

Islam has been at war with everyone else since 622 A.D.

That must remain so until we are all either subjugated, converted or killed according to their book.
All muslims are obligated to do so by their prophet.

We have seen what less than a dozen of these goat asses can do in Paris, imagine what 10,000 can do to the innocent people on the streets of our country.

Really, the Middle Eastern Christians need to stay in the Middle East. They were totally happy hanging with Islamists against Israel until the Islamists turned around and started killing them.

They need to stay in Syria. We can help them in Syria. Please stop calling for more legal immigration from the Middle East.

It is short-sighted to limit the problem to Syrian refugees. The muslim flood into the West is from multiple countries - Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, & several others. Calling them all Syrians is a clever way of characterizing them as good people fleeing a war.

But where are their women & children? The “Syrian refugees” are overwhelming healthy young men. Real refugees don’t leave their families to fend for themselves back in Syria. Good men do not abandon their families.

These are not refugees, not migrants, these are colonists.

It’s a TROJAN HORSE.

Does anybody remember their history ..??

I mean .. it was made into a movie .. surely you remember the Brad Pitt movie ..????

All you have to do is look at the demographics of the group .. all men, all 25-34, no women, no children. They really do think we’re stupid.

These “refugees” are coming HERE .. TO AMERICA .. IN ORDER TO TEAR THIS COUNTRY APART.

What has Obama been saying about America ever since he was elected .. “AMERICA DESERVES TO FIND OUT HOW THE REST OF THE WORLD LIVES”. Hmmmm ..?? but I guess that doesn’t apply to him, as he’s still living it up all over the world .. sending his wife all over the world to converse with Terrorist Groups .. and still they want us to believe they have any interest whatsoever in protecting America.

Anybody who believes that .. is missing their brain.

The recent events and lack of good judgement of 50% of American citizens has rendered me almost speechless. Do these ‘folks’ remove their brains every night to examine them? My Lord, even we rednecks get the picture—and it ain’t a pretty one. The time has come for the won and those supporting the won to rid themselves of their holier than thou garb and step up to the plate. Consider this reply to be written by one so angry she could spit nails. There is stupidity and there is ineptitude. Our won is infected with both.

That’s just so that progressives know that it’s not cool for them to be suspicious of the “refugees”.

Conservatives sit on their butts and blog angrily. Liberals go out and take action that has affect. Until conservatives actually care enough to do something besides blog and vote, things will continue going down the tubes.
