Liberals are a minority comprising only 24% of the U.S. electorate (accordingly to Gallup). They wild ideas are driving the moderates out of their ranks and into the conservative camp.

Also according to Gallup, conservatives make up 38% and moderates, 34%.

Conservatives sit on their butts and blog angrily. Liberals go out and take action that has affect. Until conservatives actually care enough to do something besides blog and vote, things will continue going down the tubes.
