If there is one ‘winner’ from last night’s terrible events in Paris, it is France’s anti-EU, anti-immigration far-right wing Front Nationale party leader Marine Le Pen. Having already ascended to the lead in yet another poll ahead of France’s 2017 elections, Le Pen came out swinging this morning call for France to “re-arm itself,†stating that radical Islam must be “eradicated†from France. She further demanded that border controls be made “permanent†and binational Islamists must be depreived of their French passport.
Must be done!
Taking away passports from binational Muslims may seem harsh (and it probably is), but all it takes is one bad egg, and I think the entire world has learned by now that Christians aren’t killing people.
In order to have a more safe society, the people must be armed. Everyone should have a right to defend themselves in the face of danger, said Captain Obvious.
I understand that France’s constitution might not be exactly like ours, but as Donald Trump said, the terror attack in Paris could’ve been extremely “different†had people been armed.
I can’t even imagine the backlash Le Pen is taking for saying that the people need to “re-arm.â€

The slaughters in Paris demonstrate the folly of declaring an entire country a gun free zone. The French government has confiscated the inherent natural right of self-defense not only for average citizens, but law enforcement as well. Unfortunately, French elites will probably avoid consideration of personal freedom and protection. Count on them to intensify the ruinous strategies that produced such idyllic environments for satisfying additions to barbarity.
In this country count on gun control acolytes to construct tortured perception of events and press their traditional agendas rather than allow a focus on predators and criminals. In the United States protecting Constitutional guarantees regarding firearms in common usage should be paramount. The inherent natural right of self-defense should always occupy a position superior to opposing laws or rules. Yet there is little chance future discussions will begin along those lines.
You are right about a “right to self defense”.
However, I will go beyond that absolute right to a “duty of self defense in most cases and an absolute duty to defend the innocent”.
America must defend themselves and the innocent when the government will not.
in the Hebdo massacre, the first police to show up were un-armed and within minutes approximately a dozen people died presumably while praying for the national police, who are armed, to show up and STOP their imminent executions by the muzzies.
Unfortunately, when you need an armed “man” in seconds, and police are “minutes” away, “feel good liberal laws” about “lets not have our cops wearing guns”, can KILL YOU and thats exactly what happened.
In Garland, Texas, police were armed and shot the muzzie bastards dead on the spot before they could kill anybody.

Agree. We must always do self defense and defense of others in a moral and lawful way. But the bigger battle is changing hears and minds with the truth.
I am afraid that things will deteriorate and frustrated people will do crazy things against others and even the government. We must always warn about the legal and moral ways of how to change things.
