And in the future, don’t vandalize threads about American achievement with your trolling.

The LRV didnât descend separately, so it had no descent stage.
Did you finally figure that out from the picture? Were you a complicated breech birth?

You’re actually proud of how poorly educated you are.
Hope the schools you went to had better luck with the other students.

I’m sticking with obtuse, breech birth and Lewy bodies. You should go to bed and reread your posts in the morning.

Sadly, threads about the Apollo missions attract kooks. I think one of these illiterates even showed up on a thread about the passing of Neil Armstrong.

Less than 50 years later, Buzz was accosted by a loser who accused Buzz of being a liar, thief, and coward — and Buzz punched him in the face. Hooray, Buzz!

That is likely due to only retro rockets being used for landing.

So is is it possible to soft-land a 33,500 lb vehicle on a talc-like surface with a rocket engine without seemingly distubing a molecule? From the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal at "102:45:44 Aldrin: Okay. Engine Stop."
[Armstrong - "I was absolutely dumbfounded when I shut the rocket engine off and the particles that were going out radially from the bottom of the engine fell all the way out over the horizon, and when I shut the engine off, they just raced out over the horizon and instantaneously disappeared, you know, just like it had been shut off for a week. That was remarkable. I'd never seen that. I'd never seen anything like that. And logic says, yes, that's the way it ought to be there, but I hadn't thought about it and I was surprised."]

You are vigilant sir! ... but I’m not sure what you mean. My point in posting this excerpt was to show how the conditions on the moon alter the appearances we might expect from a rocket landing, as explictly noted by Neil Armstrong in the quotation.

Thanks so much.
As I remember, my original point was that there was no evidence of blast underneath the lunar landing module. Even at 1/6 gravity, how can there be no evidence of blast under the lunar landing module?
