Supreme Court takes up major challenge to abortion restrictions
WaPo ^ | 11-13-2015 | Robert Barnes

The Supreme Court on Friday decided to hear its first major abortion controversy in nearly a decade, agreeing to determine how far states may go in regulating the procedure without violating a woman’s constitutional rights.

It will be one of the court’s most consequential rulings on the morally and politically divisive subject, and it will land just months before Americans choose a new president. The divide over protecting the unborn and safeguarding the right of a woman to choose is among the starkest differences between the Republican and Democratic candidates.

Numerous states have enacted restrictions that lawmakers say protect a woman’s health but abortion providers contend are merely pretext for making it more difficult to obtain an abortion or even making the procedure unavailable within a state’s borders.

They must remind Roberts that they will expose him if he doesn’t stand with them on baby killing for the good of population control.

Yes, I agree that it is more difficult to comply with regulated surgical procedures than not. Wasn’t that one of the original arguments for legalized abortions to get rid of the back alley butchers and coat hangers?

We now have a radically leftist court. How else might this end?

I’m pretty good with the Constitution, but I cannot for the life of me remember where an abortion is part of a woman’s constitutional right.

Thank you for referencing that article Nrx. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

”. . . agreeing to determine how far states may go in regulating the procedure without violating a womans constitutional rights."

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponents Argument

The states have never amended the Constitution to expressly protect the so-called right to have an abortion. So pro-abortion activist justices not only wrongly legislated from the bench the constitutionally fictitious right to have an abortion, but they breached the Founding States' division of state and federal government powers by stealing 10th Amendment-protected state powers to create that right. And they did the same thing when they wrongly declared gay ”marriage” to be a right.

And the reason that activist justices had the confidence to legislate from the bench the right to have an abortion is the following. They knew that the corrupt, post -17th Amendment ratification Senate is not going to lift a finger to work with the likewise corrupt House to impeach and remove them from the bench for doing so.

The ill-conceived 17th Amendment needs to disappear, and corrupt senators who condone activist justices who establish perverted, vote-winning rights from the bench along with it.

Given this court’s recent history this could be a huge disappointment.

'Carly Fiorina Was Right': Group Releases Full Abortion Video Mentioned in GOP Debate
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3344264/posts

**WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT**
{See the link above which includes actual photos and videos}

...

The graphic video of a "fully formed fetus... its legs kicking" appears in episode 3 of a multi-part documentary produced by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP). This video shows former tissue procurement specialist Holly O'Donnell describing how she was shown an intact fetus with a beating heart. O'Donnell says of this moment, "I don't know if that constitutes it's technically dead, or it's alive." O'Donnell was then asked to harvest brain tissue from the same fetus by cutting through its face.

As O'Donnell narrates her gruesome experience, the video shifts to 10 seconds of a fetus in a metal bowl which is still moving. The video is clearly labeled as coming from the Grantham Collection & Center for Bioethical Reform. It is not video of the fetus O'Donnell is describing but was inserted by the producers to illustrate what a living fetus at this gestation would look like.

agreeing to determine how far states may go in regulating the procedure without violating a woman’s constitutional rights.

So they are going to create more law based on a bogus consitutional right.

The supreme law of the land:

“No person shall be deprived of life without due process of law.”

— The Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution

“No State shall deprive any person of life without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

— The Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution

Any court ruling contrary to the supreme equal right of the unborn person is illicit and should be ignored.

Deuteronomy 30:19
“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:”

King James Version (KJV)

I personally believe people are also choosing their own life and death when they make the conscious choice of voting to kill children.

Voting to kill children is a willful in God`s face decision, not a sin of passion that we later say, please forgive me Lord I did it again....No this is a willful decision against God/Christ when people openly vote for anti Christian issues.

A Christian would not/could not do such a thing, nor could they even argue the wrong side at the water cooler.

This is why I say people that attend anti Christian Churches might just as well eat drink and be merry

Do not be fooled by the abortionists’ arguments. Women’s rights are the least of their concerns, and the same can be said about the Democrat and liberal politicians who enable them.

Quite simply, the abortionists do not want to have to comply with the medical safety regulations that govern genuine medical practitioners operating in legitimate clinics. Complying to health and safety regulations costs, and the last thing abortionists want is anything that decreases the bottom line.

I really wish all those liberal “feminists” who screech about their “right” to abort any baby at any time would stop and think logically for a change. Someone who kills babies for profit is incapable of concern over anyone’s health, regardless of what they tell women when they sell them abortion. And the resistance of those baby killers towards implementing the same health and safety standards that regulate the medical profession is a loud statement on just how little they care about women.
