Just like Emma Goldman they’ll one day be stunned when they start executing intellectuals.

Still got my “Little Red Book”. If Bernie makes an appearance around here I’m going to see if he’ll sign it.

This massive national crusade, instigated by Chairman Mao Zedong, was intended to create a pure communist man and woman, devoid of the constraints of materialism and personal ambition. …
That is certainly contradictory, since Marxism is materialist in nature and designed so by Marx.

Here’s a group that’s behind a lot of what’s going on in the communist-led student protest movement. They have several fronts. Unlike Communist Party USA and Workers World Party they are not an actual political party.

The Revolutionary Communist Party

These kids (yes, kids) are sowing the seeds of their own destruction. And they can thank their Marxist professors, along with the leftist financiers of today's universities.

These so-called "snowflakes" are the potential shock troops of the aforementioned Red Guard, American style.

Just as the blacks are the shock troops for the urban kraals, the hipsters are the foot soldiers on the campuses and the exurbs. Different tactics for different battlefields.

Tell me this isn't being planned like a military conquest.

...when I heard how our college campuses were being overtaken with these new-fangled "trigger warnings" and "microagressions," perfect Maoist terminology for our computerized times, it immediately gave me the heebie-jeebies. Thought control, via political correctness, had come to America in the very spot it had begun in China the schools.

Great post Kaslin...

“Mob rule, not anything close to democracy, is at play.”

FWIW, Yale grad, democracy IS mob rule.

Let’s check in with Ayn Rand about what democracy is.
http://aynrandlexicon.com/lexicon/democracy.html

‘Democratic’ in its original meaning [refers to] unlimited majority rule . . . a social system in which one’s work, one’s property, one’s mind, and one’s life are at the mercy of any gang that may muster the vote of a majority at any moment for any purpose.

If we discard morality and substitute for it the Collectivist doctrine of unlimited majority rule, if we accept the idea that a majority may do anything it pleases, and that anything done by a majority is right because it’s done by a majority (this being the only standard of right and wrong) - how are men to apply this in practice to their actual lives? Who is the majority? In relation to each particular man, all other men are potential members of that majority which may destroy him at its pleasure at any moment. Then each man and all men become enemies; each has to fear and suspect all; each must try to rob and murder first, before he is robbed and murdered.

The American system is not a democracy. It is a constitutional republic. A democracy, if you attach meaning to terms, is a system of unlimited majority rule; the classic example is ancient Athens. And the symbol of it is the fate of Socrates, who was put to death legally, because the majority didn’t like what he was saying, although he had initiated no force and had violated no one’s rights.

Democracy, in short, is a form of collectivism, which denies individual rights: the majority can do whatever it wants with no restrictions. In principle, the democratic government is all-powerful. Democracy is a totalitarian manifestation; it is not a form of freedom . . . .

The American system is a constitutionally limited republic, restricted to the protection of individual rights. In such a system, majority rule is applicable only to lesser details, such as the selection of certain personnel. But the majority has no say over the basic principles governing the government. It has no power to ask for or gain the infringement of individual rights.

Hahahahaha - that’s a hot one. Just wait until they’re out of college and lining up ten deep for the latest Calvin Klein and drooling over Lexus brochures.

All this campus communism is the modern version of jamming telephone booths, flagpole sitting, and swallowing goldfish.

Some people ridicule these students as "snowflakes" unable to stand up to the slightest discomfiting words or images. But it is far worse than that. These so-called "snowflakes" are the potential shock troops of the aforementioned Red Guard, American style.

Great observation. We always make the mistake of underestimating Liberals as being "stupid" "brainless" "weak" or whatever term fits.

On the surface, they are all of those things, but they are also absolutely vicious, organized, and motivated.

DO NOT underestimate them.
