unfortunately, I find myself in a position where I will be driving through Illinois and Missouri in a couple of weeks, sigh. Sure wish it was easier to avoid driving through these horrible states.

On a related note, this is a huge story for Missouri — one of its main universities is spinning completely out of control — and I haven’t seen Jay Nixon do anything other than run and duck for cover. He issued some BS statement about tolerance and opposing racism but otherwise has steered clear of this. Its a complete abdication of his duties — once again — and shows how shell-shocked he still is after getting beat up over Ferguson.
I think we need to look at this in a deeper light.
This is a purposely propagandized political movement to manufacture “racismâ€. There are Democrat Party political operatives actively stoking this fake “Racismâ€on Social media. Black Lives matters, the MO college campus etc are being staged.
I don’t know how many of you have teenagers but my teenagers are upset almost daily but this Instagram or Snap Chat or Facebook posting about this or that supposed racial attack. Once this crap is posted, it goes viral almost instantly
Look the Left needs their voter base fired up in 2016. The bulkwork of Democrat votes is the Black vote. They won in 2008 and 2012 by turning our record number of black votes. In 2016 they have NO candidates who appeal to that voter block. The Leftist machine must find a way to fire up that base. These fake “racists†attacks are the tool they are using.
We need some investigative reporters to start digging hard into this. I suspect you will find that these “racist reports†are being purposefully fed into social media by a very very few sources

Well then the legislature should do something about it. Reduce state funding for Mizzou by half, as well as directing the specific elimination of entire useless departments, including all racial and gender type “studies” departments.

She said she had personally apologized to the journalists involved and expressed regret that she had shifted attention from the “students’ campaign for justice.” “From this experience I have learned about humanity and humility,” Clit said.
By then, activists who had shouted “Hey, hey, ho, ho, reporters have got to go on Monday also had changed their tune. They distributed leaflets urging protesters to respect journalists’ First Amendment rights and to welcome them. (snip)

I don’t believe the General Assembly is in session right now—might not be until January (unlike some states it is not a full-time job). Nixon (Dem) would have to call for a special session which he would not do since both houses have veto-proof republican majorities who are not pleased with current events.
I do believe there will be negative consequences for Mizzou when the General Assembly comes back in the new year.

Nixon is just showing that there’s no way for State and local Dems to get clear of this tar baby. He can’t condemn it because it would destroy him with his small but vital Democrat activist base. He can’t support it because it would destroy him with his large and equally vital voting public.
Same exact thing happened to Jack Conway on Gay Marriage/Kim Davis next door in KY. Conway got trounced in a “surprise” 9-point defeat by Matt Bevin.
Look at that thread from earlier showing the MASSIVE losses at the state and local level by the Dems under Obama. The Dem Party is increasingly falling victim to the fracturing of it’s increasingly extremist activist base and it’s increasingly appalled (at the activist) voters.
OH, come on, we are conservatives.
