Trump: I am the most militaristic person on that stage

Donald Trump said Wednesday that his use of military force as president of the United States would far surpass any of his the GOP rivals, but he said he would use the military very selectively.

"I would say I'm the most militaristic person on the stage, but I would also say that I know when to do it, you know you saw that," Trump said on Morning Joe.

He was asked whether he identified more with Marco Rubio, who said during the fourth GOP debate that the U.S. needs to rebuild its military and be ready to use it, Rand Paul's call to avoid foreign entanglements.

"It depends of what were talking about it depends on where," Trump said. "You know, frankly, its a great expenditure because the more we spend it the less we have to use it. People look at us now as weak, bad leadership, a lot of bad things going."

During the Tuesday night debate, Trump said he would refrain from arming Syrian rebels, and would support Vladimir Putin in his work combating the Islamic State, even though the U.S. has accused Putin of aiding Syria's Bashar Assad. Trump reiterated that statement on Tuesday morning, even though no other candidates agree with him, and claimed that "having Putin drop bombs on ISIS is a very positive thing, we don't have to do 100 percent of the bombing."

Trump also claimed that although he would work with Putin, he would remain wary of his close Syrian ally.

"I think what's irresponsible is us getting bogged down in Syria and maybe let's end up with World War III in Syria, where we don't even want to be in the first place. And let's end up with a migration thousands of people all over the world and nobody knows what's happening,"

I favor strong defense. I would cut a lot of places before I would support further cuts in Defense.

That being said, the military does not spend money wisely. A lot of Weapon System acquisition is just tossing money around to no purpose at all. I would hope that President Trump could get us more bang for the buck.

If he gets us in aother military action or regime change, I will no longer support him. Defend our geographic boundaries only and make damn sure that whatever is done to us, we don't get suckered into retaliating against the wrong people..

And don't listen to military advisors unless we have been attacked and then proceed with extreme caution. Did you know Gen? Wesley Clark endorsed Hillary in Iowa today? Said she's rock solid dependable, some sh!t like that. I almost lost it. There's something in it for him. It's in all the lib rags but the quotes are from today's Quad City Times.

We need Trump at this stage to wake up America! You can be sarcastic or detrimental but you have to realize that things have changed with his entry and it is good.

This country has gone to crap in the last 10 years and you know who to blame. Picking on the one who brings that to light is not a good idea.

We have a long way to get back to normal!
