[March 31, 2014] Why Has President Obama Deported More Immigrants Than Any President in US Histor
The Nation ^ | March 31, 2014 | Alejandra Marchevsky and Beth Baker

Since taking the oath of office, Obama has deported immigrants at a faster rate than any other president in US history, nearly a record 2 million people. ... Most deportees never see an attorney or have a hearing before a judge before they are expelled from the country...one-quarter of all deportees are separated from their US citizen children and countless others from spouses and other family members. ... ...individuals are denied due process, punished twice for the same crime (first with prison, then deportation), detained and judged guilty without access to a judge or legal counsel. ... US law defines deportation is an "administrative measure," not a type of punishment...

Obama barely tried and he managed to deport 2 million illegals, as many as half a million a year. And it looks there were few legal barriers that stood in his way.

I'd say this puts the lie to FOX News, O'Reilly, the RINO candidates, the Democrats and the Lamestream Media when they say that Trump "can't" deport 11 million illegals. Not to mention the idea that it's "evil" to do it makes about as much sense as Obama being against same-sex marriage but then, on the day he changes his mind, all of those who he used to agree with are now branded evil for not changing their minds with him.

Just double funding and staffing for immigration authorities, tell them to work twice as hard, and in 4 years, 8 million will be deported. Most likely the remaining 3 million or more will see the writing on the wall and self-deport.

Since Trump wants to bring back in the good ones, I would suggest that he tells the illegals anyone who gets deported is barred from ever entering the country again. But if they self-deport without requiring us to apprehend them, they will be allowed to re-apply for entry legally. That stick and carrot approach should ramp up self-deportations dramatically and let us get the job done faster and cheaper.

I thought I read that they changed the classification for a "deportee". They now include "returnees" as being deported.

A returnee is someone caught, usually within 24 hours or less after entry. They then voluntarily return to try again another day.

Under that classification one can be deported multiple times.

A deportee used to be someone who went through the legal process of being deported.

I agree that it sounds like BS. However, if Obama wants to claim that he deported 2 million people, it certainly makes it hard for the Democrats to make the case that Trump can’t deport the people he intends to deport.

Of course deportations are way up. That’s because 0bama uses a very litteral interpretation of deportation.

Deportation - De, meaning ‘of’, port meaning entryway (french for door), and ‘ation’, as in motion or transportation. Put it all together, and it means every time a criminalian goes thru a a room door, car door, bus door, or bathroom door, it’s counted as a “deportation”. Thus, while an illegal goes thru buildings, cars, stores, 0’ becomes the most deporting president in history.

I don’t know if Obama’s stats are manipulated, but this other article says Bush Jr. also did 2 million. So the overall point is, we’ve deported millions before. We know how to do it. Ramping it up and doubling or tripling the effort is far from impossible, the way FOX News, Kasick, Yeb and Rhubarb like to claim.

http://www.azcentral.com/story/news/politics/2014/04/05/obama-exceeds-million-mark-deportations/7340419/

As of March 8 [2014], the Obama administration had deported 2,087,456 people since fiscal 2009, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement statistics.

By comparison, the U.S. deported 2,012,539 people under Bush; 869,646 people under President Bill Clinton; 141,326 under President George H.W. Bush; and 168,364 people under President Ronald Reagan, according to ICE statistics.

The way Obama “accomplishes” anything. They changed the definition of “deportation.”

Now, anyone the Border Patrol turns away has been “deported.”

.... The Feds changed the definition of so called ... "Deportees" ... to also include those that were simply refused entry or told they could not enter at the border and were turned away.

..... Yup ... that's right .... This administration needed this slight of hand symbolism to bolster it's image of actually appearing to do their job.

.... However .... in fact .... almost this entire Administration as well as Most of Congress have been mired and guilty of Dereliction of Duty by not fulfilling their sworn Duty to Protect, Defend and Uphold the Constitution of the United States. They only desire to pretend and create the illusion that they are doing so!!!

Why Has President Obama Deported More Immigrants Than Any President in US Histor...because like all libs he plays word games and thinks others are foolish enough to think the words represent reality - those he is "deporting" include large numbers of those who previous administrations "returned" - those who come across the border, are apprehended, and immediately sent back home - past policy was to omit these from numbers of those deported, a practice which usually takes much longer and involves far fewer than those sent back immediately - like all good con artists, Obama has refined the activity of scamming the public to a high art......

"Most deportees never see an attorney or have a hearing before a judge before they are expelled from the country"

But how can this be?? It's all over the news how each Illegal is entitled to "due process".

This crap was debunked at least 4 years ago.

Obama is the first president to count people captured at the border as being “deported.”

Deportations from the interior USA are dramatically lower for Obama when compared to George W. Bush, who also supported Amnesty!
